Synopsis

The defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young Spanish-American is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open and shut case soon becomes a mini-drama of each of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.

Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
mhmoud-saber One of the best movies , very simple but very meaningful
hunterryanbelkin This film is ambitious and was way ahead of its time. The screenplay is one of the greatest screenplays of all time. The acting is great, but the writing is so ingenious and the dialogue flows so well that it's amazing how the 96 minutes goes by so fast. A remarkable achievement in film and a must-see for any lover of cinema.
teeebies-386-140128 In my opinion one of the greater ones out there. The atmosphere and the story line let you completely forget that it's all shot in one room.
ArranJParkes 12 Angry Men is such a simple concept, masterfully executed by Director Sidney Lumet.12 Jurors must vote unanimously to decide whether or not a young man is guilty of murdering his father. The film is set into motion when all but 1 of the 12 jurors vote guilty.Juror No.8 (Henry Fonda) makes the case that the young man on trial could be guilty however he wants to consider the case a little more before deciding to vote and ultimately deciding the fate of the accused. As tensions start to run high Juror No. 8 faces an uphill battle to convince the other 11 jurors there may perhaps be more than meets the eye. When I was watching it for the first time I felt like I was Juror No.13, constantly on the edge of my seat awaiting the next big revelation. On a promotional piece for the film it says "IT EXPLODES LIKE 12 STICKS OF DYNAMITE!". I couldn't agree more. 12 Angry Men is a riveting, powerful and uplifting experience that's message is still relevant today.Without a doubt it will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. What are you waiting for? Go watch it ;)
