Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

24 Hours to Live is a quick action thriller that gets started right away and doesn't let up till it's done. Some of the action scenes are actually surprisingly cool. There's not much for characterization other than some archetypes, but everyone does a good job. It is a simple and efficient movie. It sort of reminded me of John Wick in the sense that it's a shoot 'em up movie. So if you're looking for a quick, fun action movie, I'd say give this a try.

I really can't figure out why there are people to give this great film a negative grade.
this film has it all. it's a crank already but a vast improvement.
the plot the story the action...u never get bored.
this has everything. even romance and emotion here and there.
for an action flick of this type it's almost perfect.
of course it has a few flaws but these are to be expected.
I wish all those kind of films to be like that one.
if u watched and loved the accident man starring jay white and scott adkins 10 times u will love this flick another 100 times.
it's what the other film was only a lot better minus the martial art sequences the other film had of course.
if this film had scott and white in it would ger an A GRADE.
now it gets a B grade which is very good indeed. an 8 out of 10. don't miss the one. u will never know how time passed.

So boring and slow paced. I was very surprised considering it's Ethan hawke. Was truest a waste of my time.

I am an old school straight to VCR or DVD kind of guy. I like movies with action and plot; this one had both, including twists. I dig the tactics, even though a bit over the top here and there, but really good. It is worth a "stream" or "rent". Ethan Hawke is real good in it, likeable. I also dig that Rutger Hauer is back, perhaps he is acting as a retired Nick Randall from Wanted: Dead or Alive (1987).
