Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
Thehibikiew Not even bad in a good way
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
nikusik I think that this movie is for people who has given up about their personal happiness. In my opinion, the main heroine, Jane reminds us not to be always perfect. She almost overlooked her own happiness because she wasn't thinking about herself. She always carries about others, never about herself. But sometimes it's okay to be selfish.. You can not always be quiet. You should sometimes go, and tell people what you really think instead of nodding. So, stand behind your mind and.. yourself.
Mr Black 27 Dresses,, is pretty much what you think it is going to be. Just from the title you can tell it's about a girl who is always the bridesmaid, never the bride. A few things i didn't like. Mostly the fact that this guy has Katherine Heigl in his office as an assistant and doesn't notice here. Is he blind? If she worked in my office I'd be going to see her every chance I got! But I'm a big Katherine Heigl fan. Just think she's great in every movie she does. The only thing I didn't like was the absolutely stupid ending. HOW MANY TIMES now have you seen a romantic comedy, where in the last the couple finally get together, in front of strangers at a party and kiss - and every starts clapping? Come on! It's been done, and done, and done, and done. It doesn't even make any sense. Why as a wedding guest would you start applauding two people you don't even know? I'm surprised the ending in Casablanca didn't have all the cops line up and start clapping when Rick sends Ilsa off to the airplane. So please, Hollywood, be a little more creative. I can't stand this ending scene for the thousandth time the next time I watch a romantic comedy. Come up with something NEW and Different. Otherwise I really liked the movie!
Lee Eisenberg "27 Dresses" is about what you would expect. Katherine Heigl has spent much of her career in these movies ("Knocked Up" was an exception). I wouldn't call it a bad movie, just predictable. I think that they crank these movies out because the producers - mostly old men - like ogling half-dressed young women (especially blondes). As for the general dislike of Katherine Heigl, a lot of it seems to center on the perception that she's nothing but an obnoxious starlet who gets jobs only for her looks (which she might very well be). Even if that's the case, does Heigl really deserve more hostility than, say, the people who crashed the economy? Anyway, it's a mediocre movie at best.
rod-bryans So the TV channel plays this over and over. I lock in for just a moment. But now I'm hooked. Katherine Heigl is a find. She's the genuine article and brings me back time and time again.Previous reviewers have found it corny but good god what isn't. Every plot tripping out of the big movie machine is regurgitated pap. This ground has been played before but Heigl lifts it above the norm. She's heartfelt, sexy and acts the strong supporting cast off the screen. Give it space and let it just flow over you. Man up and enjoy it for what it is. The good guys will love this.Solid plot, strong performances, and Heigl. I'm sold.
