It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The 2014th most prominent actors pair up in a series of intimate encounters. It's kinda of an original idea having so many good actors kissing each other but does it work? Yes kinda but let's talk for the worst kisses Jenny Slate & Rosario Dawson/David Oyelowo & Timothy Spall and Jason Schwartzman with Patricia Arquette there were some ridiculous ones too but they worked and i laughed for example Laura Dern with Steve Carell and John Lithgow with Julianne Moore but my favorite ones was Kristen Stewart with Chadwick Boseman, Jack O'Connell with Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller with Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Benedict Cumberbatch with Reese Witherspoon although it felt more like a forced superhero kiss but it worked a little bit i'll give 9 Kisses a 7/10.

It has become a bit of a nice tradition to me that the New York times comes up with a creative idea during awards season each year that features some of the contenders. Last year, had 18 of them, not bad, including the two female Academy Award winners as well. Sadly J.K. Simmons and Eddie Redmayne weren't on board. Two of the actors kiss in the most different situations for whatever reason and one snippet basically lasts one minute. The best for me were Stewart/Boseman and Spall/Oyelowo. The former was simply cool, the latter was really funny. The worst were Cumberbatch/Witherspoon, mostly to Cumberbatch, and Arquette/Schwartzmen, the first totally ridiculous and over the top, the second just pretty uninteresting. All in all, it was a nice watch I think and I enjoyed it. Recommended and I am already curious about next year.
