Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
lmcressia This was the best home movie I've ever seen. And that is exactly what this is... a home movie. It was literally filmed with one consumer hand held video camera. The shots/angles were bad, the lighting was bad, the sound was bad, and the actors were bad. There were no sets -- it was just someone's house. The beginning shows a crowded airport, then it cuts to a person on a couch... We are meant to feel like the couch is in the airport, but you can see it is in someone's living room if you look to the edges of the image. Now for the script... It was bad, HOWEVER, the writer was able to get a decent handful of actually amusing lines into an otherwise dismal story. The actors, undoubtedly, were friends of whoever owns the camera. They were not good. If you are watching for the dog, as I suspect you will be, there are some scenes of him playing in someone's backyard in the summer and in the winter snow. Also, a few of him just sitting around the house... The dog is not in the movie all that much, however.Technically, this is -- by far -- the worst movie I have ever seen. Worse that Roger Corman. Worse than ANYTHING on MST3K. Worse than made-for-television movies. It is awful. However, I have to admit that I have seen 15-20 movies that were less entertaining. While this is not glowing praise, it is better than flat-out saying that this is "the worst" movie ever. I gave this movie 2 stars based SOLELY on the handful of funny lines. Seriously, though, just don't watch this movie. I cannot believe this movie is sold at an actual national chain.
