Synopsis

Far outside what's normally taught as "history", this 6-hour documentary attempts to explain what's normally glossed over - Germany's actions prior to WWII, Hitler's popularity, the support of the Nazis by the Germans, the basis for hardline Nazi stances against Jews, and why Nazism was such a danger to the established world powers. It chronicles the German WWI defeat, communist attempts to take over Germany; hyperinflation during the Weimar Republic, widespread unemployment and misery that served as the foundation of Nazi principles, and Hitler’s amazing rise to power. It also reveals a personal side of Hitler: his family background, his artwork and struggles, and what motivated him to pursue a career in politics. While open to criticism for being "pro-Nazi" in its perspectives, the documentary does present many factual foundations for those perspectives, highlighting an endless list of hypocrisies and double-standards imposed on Germany in the years before, during, and after WWII.

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
lowelsse Many will say that anybody who enjoyed this program was a Nazi sympathiser or was simply brainwashed. This simply is not the case - I approached this movie with the intention of simply watching a 10 minute clip and after those 10 minutes I had to investigate further. Ask yourself - do the mainstream media, Hollywood or the very small and interwoven minority of conglomerates who control such industries tell the truth of small matters today? Do they accurately portray your views when speaking about your particular demographic? If the answer is no, then you must question what else we have not been told the truth about. Adolf Hitler speaks to the plight of European man even from beyond the grave - we have sleepwalked into a communist existence.
deannapauletto Terribly done documentary! How can you even call this a documentary?? Don't waste your time on this nonsense. More and more one sided, the longer you watch. This "documentary" strays away from Hitler to talk about racism in America and the evils of the Soviet Union. Hitler almost seems to be praised and the documentary attempts to sway the viewer to feel pity for him; the same person who purposely tried to kill an entire race of people.
joel hanson A well put together documentary exposing the globalist lies. 6 hours wasn't long enough. No wonder it's banned in 22 countries. The elites don't want this truth known. The "holocaust" is constantly touted, yet the holodomor is never addressed.
gsxr600916 Very interesting documentary the provides a unique perspective from the losing side. After watching this, it proves that history is written by the victors and that what is learned in schools is not always accurate. Now while it is clear the Germans suffered a great deal during this time period, I think it would be interesting to see if Dennis would do a documentary on the systematic mass genocide of the American Indians. The world needs an eye opener and an in your face approach to expose the atrocities to these people at the hands of the Spanish and Americans. If the Germans can acknowledge and own up to their mistakes with the Holocaust, it's time for the Americans to do the same whose history has it's roots over the blood of Indians and on the backs of slaves.
