Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Keira Brennan The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Mike LeMar This is a great idea with good acting but for Pete's sake, quit insisting that you're fine when you and everyone ELSE knows that you're NOT! I degraded this movie big-time because of how long throughout the story he keeps insisting and insisting not to see a doctor when his friend keeps pestering and pestering him to. And even moreover, any friend would just give up after awhile and walk away from him, leaving him on his own, it's that ongoing and he's being that much of a moron. It's absurd. I stopped watching about a third or halfway through because it's so stupid.
pmaheadquarters This movie wasn't great and obviously borrowed from some other films but overall I found the story interesting and the characters engaging.Special kudos for the special effects. Talk about getting the most out of a limited budget. Would like to see more from the makers of this film.
Andy Van Scoyoc I stopped watching this movie the first time around because it was soooooo boring and slow.Almost stopped watching it, again, but decided to stick it out. Glad I did, but that's only because the rest of the film wasn't as bad as the beginning. Vampires? Okay...at least they weren't emo. Pacing was still slow, but necessary. Clif's caring as he tried to help his ailing friend, was sweet, but if I heard, even once more, "are you okay?" after Derek did something stupid that any normal human wouldn't have been okay if they did, I was going to shut it off.An obvious budget, obvious means for serious filming...just a let down for what it should have...could have...been.Have a watch, give it a chance...but go in with LOW expectations. That way, if you're not as picky as I am (I'm an indie film maker too and would kill for a budget and means like this movie had) you'll probably enjoy it.
deenap4-211-59987 I'm not a huge found footage or first person footage fan. I am a HUGE vampire fan (keep your judgments to yourself please 😊).This is the best vampire movie I've seen since "Let the Right One In". I never found myself wondering when it was going to be over, I just kept hoping it wouldn't end. It's a fun (fun in a dark way) depiction of what it would be like figuring out what is happening to you & then coming to grips with being turned into a vampire. The camera isn't too shaky, which is one of the things I don't like about first person footage films. There was a good combination of action, humor & suspense. There's plenty of blood, as in most vampire flicks, but it's not overly bloody or gory so if that's what you're looking for you may be a little disappointed. Good vampire flicks don't come around often, but I would def add this movie to the list. If you're a true vampire fan, you won't be disappointed.
