Mjeteconer Just perfect...
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Red-125 After Spring (2016) is a documentary directed by Steph Ching and Ellen Martinez. The movie focuses on the Syrian refugee crisis. Footage comes from the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, when thousands of refugees from Syria await their fate. Most of the refugees in the camp risked their lives to get out of Syria. However, Syria is their home, and they truly want to return. Meanwhile, they have enough food, and a roof or tent over their heads, but not much else. Much is made of a caring person who introduces kung-fu for the children at the camp. Certainly, that's not a bad idea, but the kung-fu episodes became a major part of the movie. In a way, this derailed what I see as the real thrust of the film--Why are these people here, and why can't they return to their homes? We saw this film on a large screen at SUNY Geneseo, in Geneseo NY. It was presented by Geneseo Peace Action, a student group that is a chapter of Peace Action New York State. It will work almost as well on the small screen.
