Micitype Pretty Good
ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
visiblyvillainous I'll try and keep this spoiler free.The romance in this movie is so cringey. There's zero chemistry and it feels so overtly forced and smells of an agenda.Hong Kong is rich with history and choosing to pick that location to dump this story just feels like trying to appease the majority of Asian audiences for their money.Please try harder to make an actual good film.Better Luck Tomorrow far surpasses this movie; I'd recommend watching that instead.
makaglifestartsnow Okay so this is my first time watching this film honestly I thought this was kinda going somewhere because you would think the characters would have either rekindled the flame they started to have when they first met but that wasn't so. It was almost like an eye for an eye. He shows her around Hong Kong , then boom hey I have a gf. And vice versa they go somewhere else togetber then BOOM I have a bf & AND I'M ENGAGED. It's interesting but at the same time not really. I enjoyed seeing all of Hong Kong etc in the film but I felt like this could have went a bit differently and I don't mean like your typical romances either. Honestly I thought I would have loved the film cause I do like the actors a little bit , but still why this storyline and why the ending. The ending made me more mad! How can you just end a movie like that?!?!?! Serously?! Making no sense of it at all. I mean we could have went a different route eith this movie . They end up together or they don't! Still why?!?!?! Why not?!?! I agree with he other reviews that I have read it should have been a documentary or this should have went differently with the storyline. Honestly it did not seem as if there were a storyline . All in all I was not happy about this movie it really could have been better. And I know y'all writers could have just done something different . Not telling them how to do their job cause I'm not them just another person with a mind human like everyone else who feels strongly about yum opinion on this movie. Yup. (;
thairookachat After stumble on the movie on my flight. I want to share this with my brother. As soon as I got of the plane I rang him all told him about this great film that got my attention for 78minute with basically two actors. Very clever and romantic script. My brother manage to find Emily ting contact. And buy the film for Thailand screening. Today I watched it again. I feel this should become classic film. I hope follow his heart and he didn't get the extra taxi stop.
Zkot Pen I'm always up for a romantic comedy that rates 6.5 on IMDb, if I feel the topic is relevant, which is how I managed to suffer Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong to the end. Unfortunately, the problems with this film are fundamental and irremediable:1. Cinematography. Was this shot with iPhone? Angles, composition, depth of field, all demonstrate a complete lack of aesthetics, sullying the beauty of Hong Kong that lie right before it in practically every scene. Two points serve to illustrate: (1) Before the first scene even begins, the blurry look with colored bokeh shapes -- I knew I should have turned it off! (2) When they're standing in front of the harbor, talking about the beauty of the sea line -- it looks atrocious, blurred out in the background. Multiply similar observations by every scene.2. Dialog. Pure cliché. I wanted to be engaged in this interesting story line -- but we're looking at pure cheesy dialog from the 20th century -- old and moldy.3. Soundtrack. Right on par with cinematography and dialog: Uninspired cliché. Poor music, and badly edited.Do what I should have done: Don't even bother with Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, despite the catchy title and interesting story line!!
