"Amazing Ocean 3D" or "Fantastische Ozeane 3D" is a relatively short documentary movie from 2014, so this one will have its 5th anniversary next year. It runs for 50 minutes approximately and takes us into the world that lies in the oceans. We find out about all kinds of fish, turtles, octopuses, manatees etc. in the process. The video recordings are downright beautiful from start to finish, the narration (English version) was pretty good as well and did justice to the subject. Maybe the music was sometimes a bit too much or too loud, but this is also only true if you look desperately for flaws here. It is an informative film, but never reaches a level where only experts or scientists understand the contents, so it is really for everybody and almost everybody will learn a new thing or two as well, which makes it even more worth checking out. I have an urge to recommend a film by Eicher, Mayer and their production company because of some dubious decisions they made, but I cannot deny this was a beautiful watch, maybe also because of the inclusion of NBC. The narrator says at one point that we are only guests in the world of sea creatures and it's true. They lived long before us and if we don't kill them through our greed, then they will also live long after us. Rightfully so. Go see this one, I highly recommend the watch.
