I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Through my friends on myspace i was able to make contact with the director of this self made movie. It took a while but he agreed to send me a copy of atrocity circle, signed by the man. So far so good. The storyline is okay, girl gets raped by her friends at a home party. But one of the guys who didn't rape her wants to have some revenge. End of storyline. It's all worked out fine but there are some big failures. Some conversations are way too long. The sound isn't that great, a lot of hiss. That's a shame because with the new technology it could have been a lot better, it's 2005 remember, not the era of VHS. Furtheron the gore isn't there, you see a lot of blood but never see the knife goes into the body. And when the blood squirts out of bodies you can here the pressure on the tubes made to let the blood go. When one of the guys his legs are removed by some kind of knife the other guy in the room didn't noticed it, even the guy hurt just talks like nothing happens. That happens a few times when people are really hurt they just go on with a conversation. It's weird, because on the end credits I noticed the name Vogel. Anyway, it's watchable but could have been better done if they were more concerned with the quality of the production. Lucky for us there is a unexpected ending...
