Reptileenbu Did you people see the same film I saw?
ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
olliescool I just re-watched this series that was my childhood and feel the need to express some feelings. This is the greatest thing ever created, period. All these other reviews can only barely say how i feel about this show. If there is one thing you must do before you die, this is it. There is literally nothing else you could watch, see, hear, do etc. that could top this experience. Have a nice day. i mean me to thanks
Johnny H. Avatar: The Last Airbender is what millions of people automatically think of when they hear 'Avatar', NOT the 2009 James Cameron film. THIS is what Avatar truly is, this respects what the word means; an embodiment of what you are and what you stand for in absolute terms. This show has become a perennial favorite for fans all over the planet and for good reason; it was a convention breaker for Nickelodeon. We got a show with superhero-esque action sequences and character development and a show that finally emulated the aesthetics of anime. This show is now revered as a classic and for really good reasons. Fifteen years after release and people are STILL discovering this golden nugget of television goodness. Don't miss out on watching this in your life. It's a cartoon for the ages.
joshkej-84077 I grew up with this show and I can't imagine my life without it. It truly is not only the best cartoon series, but also one of the best series out there. With an incredible story, beautiful animation, amazing characters, great villains and awesome action sequences, it's simply flawless in every way possible.Season 1 starts off slowly but only because of the terrific character introductions and world building, introducing the lovable team of protagonists Aang, Katara and Sokka being chased by the angsty Prince Zuko accompanied by his adorable and wise uncle.Season 2 is probably the best, and introduces an awesome new character, Toph and a perfect new villain, Azula. The animation also improves and is packed with action, emotion and epicness. The Final Season is also magnificent and the characters are at their best at this point, and so is the animation quality.Overall this show is a must! I've shown it to several kids and adults alike and they always end up being hooked.
Joe Ritsy I came into this show not expecting much, but left truly amazed. This show is really good. After watching other critically acclaimed shows like Breaking Bad, I decided to try something different, so I picked up this show and started watching. First few episodes I was hesitant, but then the show grew on me. The characters, music, dialogue and animation are all fantastic, especially the action scenes. The overarching story is truly epic, and after the finale I was sad until I found out Korra existed. I even ended up reading all the comics taking place after the show, that's how likable the shows characters are. Seriously, just watch it, you won't regret it.
