Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

It's not often I write a review, but in the case of this film I felt compelled to do so in the event that some pour soul happens to read it and subsequently saves themselves from the pain of viewing this movie.I picked this film from the shelf of a local video store having not heard of its existence until that moment. Having previously seen films based on the murderous exploits of the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Richard Ramirez, the "BTK Killer" title caught my eye so I picked it up.As soon as it began, I realized that this film was not what it was advertised to be. This is NOT a film accurately portraying the story of Dennis Rader, the real BTK Killer. This is an extremely low budget movie filmed with what looks to be a Handy-Cam, splicing ridiculous murder scenes with footage from a slaughterhouse that has absolutely nothing to do with what is happening in the film. The BTK Killer did not force feed his victims live rats, or cover their faces in ground beef. The acting, plot, dialogue etc are all amateur and atrocious at best, right down to a strange scene with two news anchors wherein the male continuously hurls sexist remarks at his female co-anchor.There are films out there such as The Room (2003) and Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) that people watch and enjoy simply because they're "so bad that they're good." This is not one of those films. It's just mind numbingly awful. Take a pass

I'll admit that this is the first time I've signed up for an account anywhere just to post my thoughts on something but the film BTK Killer was just so godawfully horrid that I felt that this may be the only way to try and get this out of my system. That said, I don't care if anyone, anywhere, ever should read my comments on this film as I'm simply writing these few words as a form of catharsis and self-healing after having sat through the BTK Killer two nights ago.The film itself is worthy of absolutely no reflection or analysis. No thought went into making the film whatsoever and as such even less thought will go into my comments. I will mention that my favorite film genres are horror/cult/shock/exploitation/sleaze/giallo - typically categories where viewers tend to be a bit more forgiving as a result of the often thematically outlandish content presented to us in so many films which fall under these genres. Well, BTK Killer is an absolute exception and made me realize that there are some films which truly have absolutely no value whatsoever.I was void after sitting through BTK - nothing made an impression on me, I've seen plenty of slaughterhouse footage in other films (used in a more relevant context so the impact was not lost on viewers) so that was a total loss there - it didn't shock me - yes it was repulsive at times but so is an unflushed toilet. Zero production values, a transparent and for the most part unlikeable cast of characters, and stock slaughterhouse footage - that's all BTK amounts too. Shame is, when the slaughterhouse footage is the best part of the film (at least it was authentic and not shot by someone playing with Daddy's hi-def digicam) it's maybe time as a filmmaker (and I use that term very loosely) to consider other sources of income - talking about you Uli Lomell. This film completely lacks any artistic vision whatsoever and the fact that LionsGate picked this up and tacked their name on it is utterly shameful.Man, I just spent like 15 minutes typing this up and although not completely coherent (but much more so than the film it discusses), I have to admit I do feel a bit better getting this off my chest for now. I can handle bad films and often enjoy them for that sole reason alone (cheese and camp are often something to be applauded) but BTK sinks so far beneath the 'so bad it's good' ideology relegating itself as nothing more than the absolutely worthless POS that it is.The only distinction I can make between this film and the hundreds of other horror and cult DVDs I've bought over the years is that this is truly the worst film in my entire collection bar none.

I rather have my nut sack ripped off than watch this again! It was more funny than scary. When he said "You don't give a sh*t about that cow" torturing a random chick and pointing out a severed skinless cow head... I almost laughed my a$$ completely off. Did they get a porn director to make this piece of sh*t? I found this at a gas station for $9 and it's just absolutely horrible.... Nobody should rent this movie... and if they do and enjoy it they have some serious mental problems. I sit through it though, but in no way enjoyed it. I thought it might be like "Ed Gein" but wasn't even close. If you want a good serial killer film go rent "Ed Gein. It's excellent.

While this is only technically a professional film it is the storyline which is entirely lacking. The camera work is shaky but that could be passed off as a Blair Witch Project effect. Rather than give any insight into the case, it focuses exclusively on the sadistic game he plays with each of his victims. For example , causing one to eat a live rat, before he extinguishes the victim's life. This is repeated for each of the many murders, dwelling exclusively on the sickness, but it is each time the same uninspired theme: bitter, self-righteous nut glories in his moment of power. The film derives all of its gore from quickly interspersed footage of slaughterhouse practices, which is a plausible creative innovation. The BTK in his maniac monologues to his victims makes much of the cruelty of slaughter houses. The film would portray the BTK killer as a sort of ultra-extreme PETA nut, (although as noted the rat also got snuffed).I had happened to view a survivor of BTK on TV and was looking for insight into the local society where this devil's authority went unquestioned. Rader was a building inspector. But there is no insight.Instead in the film BTK Killer it is almost as if this were Rader's own personal stroke film. If it gives scant scant insight into his life or the lives of his victims, neither is there any real focus on the police investigation. I could only recommend this film to actual sadists who presumably are in it only for the heavy breathing and not the story. For them, I think they get a lot of bang for the buck. I thought Danielle Petty (not a victim) is a very beautiful actress. Beyond that I can see no saving features to this film.
