It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

BAHAY NI LOLA 2 is another haunted house film from the Philippines and a follow-up to the similar first. The plot involves a young couple and their baby who move into a newly-renovated home before encountering all manner of ghostly ghastliness. It's somewhat melodramatic and overacted throughout, and inevitably not at all scary.
