Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Manthast Absolutely amazing
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Ortiz Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
info-963-901739 In Venezuela the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant is the highest watched program of the year this is mainly because contestants go on to be TV celebrities, movie stars, fashion designers, political figures and even Presidential Nominees. It gives young women the opportunity to shine on the national stage. As a Venezuelan I grew up watching the program but never knew how intense and tough of a training regiment the girls had to undergo. This movie was a wonderful insight into the lives and personal sacrifices the girls have to make just for a shot at the title. The documentary is full of heart waring human moments and reveals wonderful secrets of how to loose weight and train.I recommend this film for anyone not just beauty pageant fans as it is really the story of five amazing women.
pinedavictor The Miss Venezuela Organization is one of the most secretive operations in the world. They are the world's Beauty Factory. This compelling narrative documentary provides the most compelling insiders look at an internationally recognized brand, its mechanisms, its logic, and its drama. By introducing you to the people who command it and service it, Beauty Factory goes beyond any other film on the topic. The film allows viewers into the private lives of young women, and explores the difficult sacrifices they have to make to realize their dreams. It remains neutral on the politics of Venezuela, and on the merits of the organization. Beauty Factory allows the viewer to witness how a small group of people shape and define beauty. This is a compelling film not only because of how timely it is, but also because it raises broader questions. In the lives of average Venezuelans, politics and scarcity deprive people of opportunity. The Miss Venezuela pageant is a multimillion dollar enterprise that creates a national phenomenon.
