Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Phillipa Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
vilontetoyou The movie was pretty good. But no storyline whatsoever. It's really funny though! So I loved it. The chemistry was relaxed but really good. However, I didn't like the flashbacks throughout. There should be a better way to show the past.
inforaza Befikre looks as if it is a very loooong advertisement for Condoms! What with the hero and heroine running around, frolicking, kissing, groping and having sex. What with lots of bare bodies. It is an completely C-grade film - but presented in a stylish and expensive manner. Befikre is a great showcase for "retarded" entertainment (and we've 100s churned out in every film industry in India)!Ranveer Singh acting is OK. Vaani Kapoor acting is non-existent and looks like a transgender (after some stupid cosmetic surgery)! She looked her normal self in Shuddh Desi Romance but now she looks like a Shemale. LOL! Bad cosmetic surgery and bad taste in Aditya Chopra for selecting her , as if we did not have any sexy, non-Shemale-looking actresses to play the role. Absolutely shocking! But MOST shocking is that such a cheap film is produced under the Yashraj banner (another one being Neal and Nikki), and directed by no less than Aditya Chopra. I am sure his father, Yash Chopra, would be turning (360 degrees) in his grave because of what his son has done - which is in sharp contrast to the classy romantic films one associates with Yashraj. But the Romance in Befikre is totally frivolous, superficial and hardly appeals to ones senses.Who the hell was Aditya Chopra trying to impress with his infantile and cheap Befikre? Which type of audience was he targeting? Shemales or Transgenders? LOL! Was he drinking Tequila while making this obnoxious film? One thought that he was trying to target the Youngsters. But I am absolutely sure youngsters themselves have rejected this utterly bakwaas, brainless film!STUPID COMMENTS OF REVIEWERS1 - "BEST MOVIE , a must watch for all Lovers"2 - "Vaani 3 years after her debut film, looks sexy and delivers a extremely nuanced and polished performance with pitch perfect french speaking."3 - "I am actually very shocked by such low ratings this movie has received, i mean what's wrong with it guys?"4 - "Feel young, feel fearless, feel careless with this befikre.. i really enjoyed it."5 - "Aditya Chopra managed a decent work and could have tried hard to convince all the others who did not understand the essence." (OMG! I certainly missed out on the "essence"! ROFL!)6 - "The fantastic trailer and the music YRF put up made me excited but honestly, this film is a disappointment. " (Fantastic trailer???? What fantastic? The trailer itself gives clues on how frivolous and cheap this film is!)PS: Have something to say to me? Shoot a mail to inforaza@gmail.com
Rawal Afzal I think this film is strictly reserved for Ranveer Singh's fans, who's the sole grace of the sinking ship that it is. Surely enough he lights up your mood with a joke or scene here or there. The scene that I loved the most was when he's disturbed at night by the girl as she wants to talk about something with him, he goes up to her and says that anything below cancer won't do because he's just dumped the most colourful night of his life for her sake!Apart from him, the dance by him and the girl before the day of their respective weddings was really top class and awesome! Really loved that. The film overall is plain rubbish. In such films they show that being romantic and getting married is very old-fashioned and cliché, but what they fail to realise is that the protagonists saying "Mujhe nahi'n karni koi shaadi waadi" is itself getting overused and boring. Bollywood has been making films about it since years now!I wouldn't say that I'm robbed here anything, since I watched this film with zero expectations having read the reviews. I just did it for Ranveer's sake. From a critical view, this film doesn't even deserve being called a film. Complete nonsense!
Ajit Tiwari Aditya Chopra has made "DDLJ" which is an epitome of love, DDLJ made people fall in love even if it was rather pretentious. Now in 2016, he comes with "Befikre" a rom-com which is set in Paris. On the ground, it looks like, it is a vehicle to promote Parisian tourism. However, it is a movie for the Indian audience, being an Indian, I could not relate even a single scene with typical Indian life. There is no need to describe a synopsis as there is no story. Two people want to be in "Friends with Benefits "or "No Strings Attached" kind of relationship, they just want casual sex, not a serious relationship but eventually they fall in love. So again we see two independents who don't know that they will fall in love after 20 minutes, the problem is that we as the audience know everything, it has been made known since the inception of Indian cinema, it is as predictable as we do our daily chores."Befikre" is exaggerated and shallow at the same time, lead actors do not have any chemistry, Vaani Kapoor hams, Ranveer Singh overplays (we know he can act though), they kiss and kiss, it seemed that kissing is only acting which actors know. We don't get to know any backgrounds and other details which could have added a lot of weight to the story. The screenplay did never work as we never feel connected to the scenes.Music has always been great in all of Adi's movie but "Befike" has an above average music. What works here is the locales, which have been captured beautifully and at least it soothes the pain which we have to go through the entire movie.Overall, it is a waste of money and talent. Not at all worth your time.
