This is so badly written, acted, filmed and edited that it makes me ashamed to admit I live in the same country that produced this turkey. I think that Lifetime got involved with this project because it's ostensibly about male relationships. You can just hear the marketing department directing the writers: "Let's make something about male relationships and market to the guys while still keeping the gals watching. Yeah, throw in some action with a SWAT squad. That goes over big with guys. Show them drinking beer but substitute apple juice because we don't have any budget for this." Result: a movie about male relationships is still a movie about relationships. The result is something more boring even than "Terms of Endearment". The only thrill I got when someone in this movie got plugged was that it was a just reward for their bad acting.I feel for anyone who paid even one of our shrinking loonies to watch this. I caught it on cable so I'm really only out the electricity that powered my system. Avoid this movie if you can.

Another reviewer stated that the acting in this movie was like high school actors.... Hate to say it but the actors in my high school were way better than the actors in this horrible movie. It was bad from the first to the last. There was some very cheesy action, the filming was very low budget, which ordinarily doesn't bother me, but in this case I think the weak and slow story line coupled with the horrible acting made the low budget stand out too. I only have two good things to say about it: It's a good thing I was playing sudoku the whole time so I don't feel like I completely wasted my time watching it and a good thing I caught it on cable so I didn't waste any money.

Nick Browning (Levi Oliver) is a disgraced ex-cop whose daughter has gone missing, his one and only goal being finding her for him and his estranged wife. After butting heads with his former colleague Fred Mears (Rowdy Roddy Piper), he soon finds himself deeply involved in a conspiracy involving some people in high places. This movie is Slow-moving with an over emphasis on 'slow'. Playing out like some high-school level 'charecter study' but with the same level of acting one would expect from that. The 'action' in the last half hour or so is far too little, far too late to save this movie. If i could sum up it and relate it to other EXTREMMELY better movie I'd say it's akin to "Cop Land" meets "Walking Tall" but that would sully the name of those two great films. Just awful.Eye Candy: Gratuitous breast shot from an extra at about the 39 minute mark in a vain attempt to wake the viewer up (it doesn't work) My Grade: D- DVD Extras: Promo trailer for this film; and Trailers for "Revamped", "Grayson Arms", & "Study Hell"

I am from Port Huron, Michigan and had this Movie given to me by a friend who knows I love cop movies. I guess the Movie was filmed not too far from where I live in Michigan. I must say that I was impressed and would recommend the Movie to others. There are some cheesy parts in the beginning and near the end but all in all it was well done. The actors who I looked up on IMDb did a great job. I was surprised to see that this was the first feature film for one of the actors (Joel Hookey) who did an excellent job playing Jay the local police officer. I also thought that the actor Levi Oliver looked a lot like Ethan Hawk from the movie "Training Day". The Movie appeared to have a lower budget but was very easy to follow and had some great drama to it. I would highly recommend you give this Movie a chance and see what I saw....I very good script with great acting and some good action. ENJOY!!!!
