CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
facebookralph I was excited to watch this movie when Epix1 had it running for free on August 11, 2017. Tyler Perry's movies are usually GREAT but when I started to watch it, I was bored within the first 15 mins of the movie and then the acting OMG was TERRIBLE especially this Hatti and Aunt Bam characters. That was the worst acting I have ever seen in 61 years of my life. The whole movie dragged itself out to a point that I couldn't wait for it to get over (Yes I could have changed the channel but I was hoping there was a good part coming at some point). What I really thought was disgusting though, was the daughter (Tiffany) who was so defiant of her father and her mouth was a major turnoff because we are living in a world now where there is so much of that taking place in homes across the states. Kids are becoming dangerous today and horrible to be around! The disrespect shown by these young people is something that parents need to get a handle on before their son or daughters cause them harm or someone else. Young people today in reality have parents scared to death to discipline them which is leaving society with a terrifying and out of control generation. It's not a joke!!! We have a serious problem today with a lot of young people and their disrespect they have for their parents, adults, elderly people and animals. I am sorry but I did not enjoy the movie at all and the only reason I gave it a 2 rating was because of Tyler Parry playing Grandpa, now he was good in that part and I did enjoy him BUT that Hatti and Aunt Bam character OMG poor poor acting! I will not recommend this movie to anyone but the rest of his movies, yes!
Vayne Hudson (This isn't exactly a spoiler but might ruin the plot) Me and my mom decided to go see this movie after she saw the trailer. It's sad because I love Tyler Perry's Madea movie's but this one really sucked. I feel like the beginning took forever to get into for no reason and after the best joke it just went downhill from there. I hate how this movie was basically about this girl who doesn't wanna listen to her dad. Like I didn't go to the movies to see a girl with daddy problems, I went to see Madea. My mom was very disappointed in the movie too.
dansheyz i do not think i will be following the ratings anymore, imagine the movie overall getting 4.7, is it that people are hating on Tyler Perry's movie. though i do not watch movies bellow the ratings of 7.0, but i said let me try this and i tell you i was not disappointed. Tyler still got it in him. great Job. One day you will be rewarded with an Oscar.
Tony Heck "I want to be sure she doesn't sneak out." Tiffany (White) has just been invited to a frat party and wants to go more than anything. Her dad (Perry) has to leave and wants to be sure she follows the rules, so he turns to the only person he can trust; Madea (Perry). Tiffany and her friends decide the only way she can go is to scare Madea and her friends away, but Madea doesn't go down without a fight. Full disclosure, I have been reviewing movies for over 6 years, and this is somehow the first Madea movie I have ever seen. I will admit I have kind of avoided them because the character is a little annoying to me in the trailers. After watching this I will admit it was a little funnier than I expected, but at the same time felt really forced and tried to cram the jokes down your throat and that hurt the movie. The movie itself is a little predictable but watchable and I have to admit I liked it more than I expected, but at the same time this did not make me want to go back and watch the other Madea movies. Overall, better than I expected but I'm still not sure why there is so much hype behind these movies. I give this a B-.
