Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Lumsdal Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) "Boog & Elliot's Midnight Bun Run" is a really short animated movie from 2006, so this one had its 10th anniversary last year and it only runs for four minutes approximately and a solid part of that already includes the closing credits. I already described the subject in the title and this little add-on refers to the film "Open Season" of which it features several characters. Directors are Culton and Stacchi and the latter is an Oscar nominee now. But he wasn't back then yet. These two also directed the original "Open Season" and I think I have seen that one too, but we will talk about it on another occasions. Now the focus is on this one here and the gang are hungry (or rather greedy) and try to get their hands on some extremely tasty fresh-baked buns. So you already guess correctly what to expect here. It gets a bit chaotic in the characters' attempts to not get caught red-handed. It's all for the comedy and the cast includes some pretty known names who reprise their roles from the full feature. All in all, it's an okay film to check out for huge "Open Season" fans, but everybody else can absolutely skip it and they should have no regrets. I was rather underwhelmed with this one as it is sadly not as witty and entertaining as it is loud and over the top. Watch something else instead perhaps, even if you can't go very wrong with this runtime.
dsl3001 In this special DVD extra on the open season DVD Boog and Elliot try to steel some freshly baked buns from a man and his dopey wife while they are taking a swim in the lake. But when Boog and Elliot find out that there dog named (Mr. Weenie) is guarding the buns,Boog hooks Elliot up to some kind of fishing wire and lifts Elliot down to grab the buns (not to mention that Boog reminds Elliot to grab him a bun with nuts) But when Elliot starts goofing off some of his drool falls on Mr.Weenie he wakes up and starts to bite Elliot. Can Boog and Elliot successfully avoid the dog with a sack of freshly baked buns, or will they get caught by Mr. Weenies owners and have the police be called on them.I'm not going to reveal the rest of the short film you'll just have to go rent/buy/borrow the open season DVD and see the rest for yourself. You know I'm actually very curious how this short film was given a MPAA movie rating. PG for suggestive humor it says on this website. I mean don't you think it's strange that a short film has an MPAA movie rating I mean can anyone find another short film with an MPAA movie rating on it. I don't think they will but if they do please write a comment for it so I can know the short film.the short film (which can be found on the open season DVD) runs 4 1/2 minutes and it is well worth your time if you're a fan of the movie open season. I rate this one 8/10
