SincereFinest disgusting, overrated, pointless
Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Leofwine_draca I watched this Taiwanese cheapie under the title BRUCE TAKES DRAGON TOWN even though it has absolutely nothing to do with Bruce Lee and doesn't even feature a Bruce Lee imitator in the cast. Instead, the film's hero is a middle-aged bloke called Alan who looks more like an accountant than a martial hero. Alan falls foul of a local crime kingpin and finds himself battling forces stacked against him with the help of his on-off girlfriend. This is mostly a bottom-of-the-barrel production featuring numerous action scenes but ones which fail to ignite any kind of excitement in the viewer. Chan Lung was never going to be one of the screen's most dynamic heroes and his static presence leaves a big hole in the middle of the film. A couple of familiar faces, like Yi Li-Min and Lung Fei, appear in support but are given very little to do. The most notable thing about this film is the poor dub job, especially noticeable on a child character.
William The video box plot is not the film and Bruce le is not in the film. The lead is someone else and he looks like he is in his 40's. He plays Alan, a fighter who is forced to help a kingpin battle a rival kingpin. Alan later finds out they are both evil and it's time for a low-grade deadly showdown. No Bruce Le, no plot about prisoner's on a deadly mission (that is advertised on the box), just another dull kung-fu film. Only one of the two photos on the box is in the film!!!! Not recommended.
