Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
x_specter_x This was a pleasant surprise. I have watched almost all of the horror movies with a rating of 4 or higher. There are so many turds out there. This is not one of them. The cinematography and location were very good. The acting was well above average as well. But most importantly the characters were believable. It had scenes that reminded me of Alien. Not much gore but a lot of tension... my type of movie. Apparently i have to have 10 lines of text so the rest of the review is optional. If you like movies where the characters are competent (like the Descent or maybe Aliens) you might enjoy this movie. One of my biggest gripes with most horror movies is that they make the people complete idiots. I find it annoying and end up wanting them to die or not caring. I greatly prefer movies like this one were the people are just trying to do their job and be good at it.
Bloodmarsh Krackoon Mark Bonnar has now starred in two horror films, in the same year, about documentary film makers in search of a mysterious wild cat. 'X Moor' certainly had potential, but ended on a sour note, due to a stinker second half - so, how does 'Camera Trap' fair? Well, much like the title of the film, it stinks. It's one of those found footage horror films with little to no budget, so they spend most of their time filming in the dark, so no one can see anything. We never get to see who or what the attackers are, but judging by the awful sound, I'm going to assume they were being picked off by mentally challenged beings from another planet. Yes, low budget guys from outer space. Again, this is only MY guess - It's hard to make an accurate judgment when the director uses his no budget to his advantage - You cheeky bastard, you! When Alex Verner gets a little more cash, and a better title, maybe he can give this another shot, because I can't speak for the rest of you out there - but I don't like staring at darkness for 90 minutes.Random Ramblings of a Madman: If you guys get really bored, and you find yourself about to watch 'Camera Trap,' send me a private message - We'll load up skype, and after you direct yourself to the nearest DARK corner of your house (This is very important, because you're not allowed to SEE anything.) I will then sit on the other end screaming obnoxious sounds for 90 minutes. We'll call it 'Skype Trap.' I hope Alex Verner didn't copyright that yet.
maugrim81 I just saw the movie Camera Trap. While it was really good and was suspenseful, the only downside is you really didn't get to see what was attacking them . especially on the infrared. What was it really? Was it a snow leopard like they had wanted to find? or something else? This was my only complaint about the movie. you didn't know what it was. i would've really liked to have seen what was doing the killing.has anyone else seen it? if so what are your ideas on what it could've been? also that helicopter...should've stayed!! especially when he heard there was an accident..or..could he have known what was out there and wanted to get out ASAP?
