Protraph Lack of good storyline.
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
mbaaguilar This was a very interesting and suspenseful plot. It starts one year after the original Cinderella. During the first year anniversary, the Fairy Godmother flings the wand away, and it gets stolen by Anastasia. The Fairy Godmother is turned into a statue trying to get the wand back, and the Stepmother turns back time to the point before Anastasia tried on the glass slipper in the original Cinderella. The Stepmother uses the wand to change the slipper to make it fit Anastasia's foot, and later makes the prince forget that it was Cinderella he danced with. However, the Prince still can tell that something is wrong. Meanwhile, Cinderella with the Birds and the Mice try to get the wand back, but the mice do convince the Prince to save Cinderella, who the Stepmother has banished. The Stepmother then uses the wand to make Anastasia look very much like Cinderella, and uses the wand to send Cinderella far away. However, Cinderella is able to get back to the wedding, and Anastasia can't go through with it. Although the Stepmother turns threes sets of guards into chickens, pigs, and one other animal, the prince deflects the spell when the Stepmother tries to turn Cinderella and Anastasia into toads, and it turns the stepmother and the other stepsister into toads. Anastasia turns herself back to her correct appearance, and then brings the Fairy Godmother back from being a statue. The Fairy Godmother decides not to send them forward in time again. Cinderella and the Prince get married again, and Anastasia finds true love by marrying the Baker.
Hermione Granger I think the rating for the movie is already perfect. It's higher than the other Disney movie sequels' reviews, yet not as high as the original. Here, Cinderella and Prince Charming are celebrating their first anniversary. The fairy godmother comes along to help with their celebration but loses the wand. Lady Tremaine gets it and makes time go back, then having the glass slipper fit Anastasia and her to marry the prince. Anastasia is the star here. It is quite interesting. I won't spoil what happens, but we get a new perspective on her. Cinderella still looks like herself, NOT like Jasmine in Aladdin and the King of Thieves--deflated and out of place. However, I just don't want Disney messing around with making time going back and forth. It's annoying. Everything was perfect. Couldn't Tremaine just have made herself rich? This is one of the best Disney sequels, but that doesn't mean it's great. It's worth watching, and you will probably remember it. It just won't be a classic.
xxiaowenxx How good it was. It was definitely a twist but beautifully done, and might had sled a few happy tears at the end. What I really enjoyed was they gave Cinderella more character, especially that part with her in the pumpkin. Not only is she kind and sweet but she was a bad ass side and didn't back down. Also, the react to the prince with the mice, I thought was dead on. I didn't care for the farce moments through but I'm not usually a farce person. There are a few things I disliked but it is a Disney film. Most of them were nit-pick like why did the prince fall in love. They kept on saying they knew by the touch of the hand, which I don't understand. But it is a fairy tale. And I wish they developed the prince more. Through the major thing I thought was strange was why didn't the stepmother turn her step daughter into Cinderella look alike in the first place. It would seem the obvious choice. Otherwise, it's a great movie.
flyingamon Cinderella II was not bad but it made you wanting for more because there was not really much of a suspenseful story in there. Cinderella III though picks up where Cinderella II went wrong and presents a really great story. The original Cinderella was good but I think Cinderella III at least equals it and might even be surpassing it. Personally I liked III more than the original movie but that is just my preference. Instead of a Cinderella passively waiting to be saved, she fights to win her love back. That's the Cinderella I would have loved to see more in the original one. It's very nice that the story keeps the idea of Cinderella II where Anastasia (Cinderella's stepsister) softens up and becomes much more likable actually evolving into my favorite Cinderella character and one of my favorite Disney characters altogether. Cinderella III has humor, drama and even scary scenes and not to forget some serious twists. It certainly has not stolen its title. Although too many sequels is not good I still would love to see some of Cinderella and Anastasia's adventures as real sisters and good friends. The only problem with this one is that some characters from the second movie are nowhere to be seen (Pon-Pon and Bruno). That's the only thing that keeps me from giving it perfect score.
