BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Blake Rivera If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
kjohn-27705 Totally enjoyed the movie. Who can't get over David Neal Levine as the most believable Dr. Phil as a mental patient. The cast was awesome... Laughed all the way through the movie. Trying to be famous isn't easy as Bob and his band of friends find out. It has it's ups and downs. Sit back and enjoy!
tylerbernard-70374 This was a really an enjoyable movie with a great premise... an average guy (Bob) obsessed with being famous. I think a lot of people can relate. The only difference is Bob humorously tries everything and anything to be famous without success - - his last attempt gets him committed to a mental hospital. About ready to give up on his lifelong dream, he meets other patients - - one who believes he's a British secret agent (Smith) who claims that Bin Laden is still alive and hiding in upstate New York. Funny stuff watching Bob and a group of mental patients escape the hospital in a wild journey that is surprisingly heartwarming in an effort to help Bob find fame. Story was interesting, acting was excellent, and the production value for an indie film rivals any movie you would see in a theater. The movie is short in duration, but it's a fun time nonetheless.
aluasha This movie is wild and relatable because it directly pokes fun at our modern-day culture's obsession with being famous. The lead character, Bob, is a lovable, wide-eyed average Joe who will do almost ANYTHING to be famous. His antics land him in a mental institution where he meets a patient who thinks he's James Bond. The Bond guy, who is constantly high on psychiatric drugs, tells Bob if he helps him escape, he can make him famous by capturing Osama Bin Laden, who of course, is already dead. With the help of 2 other patients (a Dr. Phil wannabe and a angry compulsive eater), they all successfully escape. Then the film surprises - - because it's not only funny (the scene where they visit a gun store is classic comedy), but it also turns heart-warming. The film is not perfect and you have to buy into the premise that there's a huge government cover-up. And the film is too short. But in spite of being low budget with an unknown cast (I did recognize the "Office Space" guy), it has good acting and an interesting story. This alone makes Crazy Famous a film definitely worth watching.
dubdawubdawubda Bad writing, bad editing, bad acting and little racist. This movie was utter crap all the way through. The cringeworthy dramatic pauses when the actors were delivering lines was almost unbearable. The production and post production mistakes were too many to count. It was not funny because they tried too hard to be funny. Just bad. Do not waste your time.
