topdany First, let me tell you I'm not Republican nor Democrat. And also let me just say that this movie treats the facts incredulously loosely. Why paint Mr. Bush like a hero?And what about the "defiant" phrases like "No tin-horn terrorist is going to keep me out of Washington!" ?! We, as thinking human beings prefer our history unfiltered. Because if you know your history about 911 (like almost of you do) you will spend big time weeding out the truth from the lies.However the appreciation of the content will depend on your political inclinations, because if you are a Republican, you will appreciate the patriotism of this movie ("Super Bush"), but if you are a Democrat, this idea about "Super Bush" will have you either laughing and frustrated (or both!!!). And I agree with another user who says that this film may ignite certain furies in attempting to justify the war in Iraq.Finally, and the reason why I gave just one star to this movie is because this film is so Republican propaganda from start to finish, that if you can swallow it... bon appetit... If not, please avoid this trash...

xbrad68 DC 9/11 I a proAmerican Government movie. I always support the elected President and believe in Democracy so I have no problem with the film. In a previous review I said that I had two advisors, In Texas that is Snake Plays Ken doll, the Messiah tells his followers to be as cunning as serpents explaining the code name. Snake Plisken is referred to as a Navy Seal, and who is the Commander in Chief of the Navy Seals? None other than my trusted friend President George W Bush who is indeed Snake Plays Ken doll as some of the supercomputers guessed. As for Boilermaker who is known as Er? none other than my full Aunt Queen Elizabeth II Windsor who outranks me admittedly but who I still consider as an adviser with an emphasis on our Common Vi connection going back to King George VI, Another variant of a boilermaker is a depth charge drink and what leader can remember the time of depth charges? None other than my Auntie Queen Elizabeth II Windsor once again. So if you had NSA computing power that is mostly Japanese made these days you too thinking like a Servant of our Creator could have figured out this riddle and now you know the rest of the story. I miss my Friend with a Capitol and a capital on the world stage General Colin Powell although I also like Secretary of State Condi Rice as my French Republic fellow Guallist allies say. lanroot I really enjoyed this film for several reasons. The foremost reason is that it didn't tear up the administration for its lack for foresight or any other failure people like to point out. I suppose its like the reader who feels anger towards me for saying anything nice about Bush - just can't help it huh? Did he hurt you? Did I? Sorry.You see, no matter what position someone holds, they will always make mistakes. Spelling mistakes, calculation mistakes, errors in judgment, failure to achieve completion of a good project, and creating bad projects that damage plague us all! I can say 'sorry' for things I fail at - and boy I sure do, and I get forgiven and even respected for the apology. But not leaders. Especially leaders who don't follow the popular trends. Its as if the 'popular trends' are always the right trends and if you fail when you aren't following the trends, well, there you go! Idiot! Hardly. It's not fair or balanced when trend followers fail and don't get any blame. Bush's predecessor (what's his name?) lied loudly to the world, but that was a trendy thing he did.. so hey, no foul. Media liked him.Anyways, the film yes. Well there's not one film in the world (besides spaceballs and Dude Where's My Car and others of that sort) that don't take themselves seriously. There's always something in it that isn't just entertainment - but always a message to be heard. Was this film supposed to be the precise history of 9/11? No, I really didn't feel that was the intention. It really was a film that brought emotion to the forefront. It wasn't to blame or to fame anyone, but rather to lift up those who suffered, to show the faces of Americans as a nation that hurt. The film brought tears to my eyes to see the devastation again (though the scenes that showed destruction were easily identified as special effects) and I took that message to heart. It brings the same compassion and hurt to viewers as should stories brought to us from the devastation of Katrina. That's what the film was - not finger pointing or some political spam tool, but good old story telling of pain and sorrow - what we all should ponder each year at 9/11.Donate to the Katrina relief!

ungeziefer This might be the funniest movie I've ever seen. I'm not talking "Red Dawn" funny, I'm talking "Atomic Cafe" funny.It's that breed of propagandistic funny that is ripe for a Mystery Science Theater viewing experience, but just disturbing enough to make you ashamed of your country a little bit-- and ashamed that you actually paid to rent it, and thus contributed something to the producers.Still, overall a real hoot. Not even the Kremlin could beat it.But when I read the favorable (even gushing) reviews some people have written of this "film," the humor starts to evaporate, and horror sets in. As with "Atomic Cafe," more important than the absurdity is the fact that some (many?) people did not see the absurdity, but rather actually bought in to this sort of mindless propaganda.In that sense, this could be considered a true "horror" film.More horrifying still because apparently enough people are drinking the Kool-Aid to make the present a very dangerous time indeed.
