Nonureva Really Surprised!
Bereamic Awesome Movie
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Bigdreamsjay One hell of an exhilarating and explosive action-packed thrill-ride from start to finish. A high-octane action sequel to this hard-edged franchise that continues to bring on the heat. A turbo-charged roller-coaster ride. An adrenaline-charged and wickedly entertaining movie that's big, epic and truly unrelenting.wonderful cinematography African desert looks stunning and breathtaking third time is more exiting and brutal, the look of the film is more like mainstream big budget but with its limited budget for direct to bluray and DVD release this is the high end film to look for this is truly pure entertainment 8/10
PauloOliveira1471 Sorry for the long review, i want to say it all. Read if you want. It's my opinion, please respect it.Just an aside, I'm not coming here to say that, this or that movie was horrible and some actors deserve better (like they were forced to do it). I respect your opinion but I think it's more important to concentrate in what worked / what we liked and what didn't work instead of 'criticizing it at gross'. It's what I think. So the movie. Best part: Boobs and girls. Tanit Phoenix (Katrina) besides gorgeous, has an outstanding body; those boobs oh god ;). In every scene, I was like Lists, in the scene when she enters the car, staring to her boobs. All the girls that appeared in the movie are hot; the qualifying fight to death scene was very nice, because of the girls and the deaths too. But Tanit Phoenix amazed me in every scene.Besides that, what I liked also in the movie: some kills were nice; the all concept of race, out of the prison, more endurance and hardness, like Goldberg said; Psycho was a nice surprise, a funny psycho killer; the scene where he grabs his co-pilot boobs is hilarious,; liked the role of Niles York (Dougray Scott), the maniac who wanted more money, death and control. Also liked the story around Frankenstein, the man behind the mask. The deal and the plan made by Carl Lucas and Weyland was cool. What didn't worked for me: i would like to see more action in more scenes; Luke Goss is a nice actor but it wasn't at the level we expected for a character like Frankenstein; i really liked if Jason Statham were still in the role; characters like Prudence didn't added nothing to the film. Oh and the scene where Lucas escape from the missile (with the 14K help), how the missile exploded if it didn't hit his target? like the other guys, strange no? And 14K wasn't dead already from one the past movies? Some errors I detected: clothes changing in sequential scenes (I think they are, make sense). When they arrive to the prison, before going to the cells they have that fight scene in the tunnel. Katrina top changes from red to a larger black top. An 'error' that I think was forced. When stage 1 is about to start, the announcer says that the 11 drivers are ready at the starting line; 11? the girls weren't fighting for 10 positions ? Only 10 started the race yes, because one tried to escape and got killed before the race even start, but it was a detail it should had been corrected, I think.Overall, it isn't a perfect movie and not so good as expected, but I think it wasn't so bad as some people say. It had a story, action (not so much as expected) , girls - hot girls, boobs, a twist in the story; the ending makes me think what it could be made next with Frankenstein, if a fourth film were made.I enjoyed to watch it. It's my opinion, please respect it. Thanks !!
Hellmant 'DEATH RACE 3: INFERNO': Three Stars (Out of Five) Another direct to video prequel which almost leads up to the beginning of the original 2008 remake (of the 1975 cult classic Roger Corman film 'DEATH RACE 2000'). In the original remake Jason Statham played a framed ex-con who's forced to participate in a deadly prison sport in which inmates race against each other while trying to kill one another. He replaced the original star driver 'Frankenstein' (since he's just a man in a mask) who was killed trying to win his final race for freedom. 2011's sequel told of the origins of the original 'Frankenstein', Carl 'Luke' Lucas (played by Luke Goss). This second prequel continues to tell his origin story. In the film Carl Lucas (Goss) is one victory away from winning his fifth race in the popular 'Death Race' prison tournament. If a driver wins five races they're supposed to be granted their freedom but Death Race's new owner, Niles York (Dougray Scott), wants the show to expand and make more money, so he makes Lucas promise not to win another race (if he does he'll kill him). Lucas and his pit crew are forced to participate in a new tournament in Africa where Lucas at first appears to be compliant with the new owner but things aren't quite as they seem. Death and carnage ensues as the races are once again a violent bloody spectacle. The film is directed by Roel Reine (who also directed the second movie). It's written by Tony Giglio (who also co-wrote the second film) and Paul W.S. Anderson (who wrote and directed the 2008 remake). Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, Fred Koehler, Tanit Phoenix and Robin Shou all reprise their roles from 'DEATH RACE 2'. My expectations are always low for these direct to video sequels and because of my low expectations I'm always pleasantly surprised. This movie (like the second one) has a lot of cool action, car chases and hot chicks. It of course completely lacks any originality or depth but it is entertaining. That's all you can really ask of a movie like this and it does it's job well. I'd say it's just as good as the second film if not even a little better. Fans of the series should be pleased.Watch our movie review show 'MOVIE TALK' at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEPQxhCbOms
ericzillazillo I just wanna open by saying I hate people who don't judge content by context, and in context, I thought this film was pretty sweet. Yes, there is the continuity problem and some extent of continuity problems- but come on, its a death race movie. Of course Death Race is crap if you judge it by normal movie standards, but death race is death race, man! And while this third installment wasn't a masterpiece, it still delivered enough entertainment for me to go "that was worth it". There's also that ending which, while some might say are cliché or cheesy or "Hollywood endings", I personally thought was awesome. Minus the ultra- numerous plot holes and impossible Hollywood stuff that happens because entertainment conflicts with realism, plus the constant bitching from Danny Trejo and Tanit Pheonix about friendship and deceit is really cheesy and annoying and cheesy and annoying, the only problem I got with this film is that Fred Koehler annoyed the crap outta me with that god awful character "Lists" and the things Lists says which is, as I mentioned before, annoying. However overall, this is a nice finish for a Death Race trilogy, if you bothered to see the first two you might as well see this as well. And yes, let's hope they don't make Death Race #4.
