This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The movie really just wants to entertain people.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

Traci Lords (Cry Baby plus various adult movies) and Denise Crosby (Star Trek TNG) star in this highly sexually charged thriller. This is a tale of innocent people being caught up in a gang war between two rival mafia families.Crosby wins on the acting front, and in the hottie department. She gets the majority of the highly charged erotic scenes. Though Lords certainly gives her a run for her money in the hot babe stakes. It's a great sexy thriller that contains plenty of action, So all in all a perfect movie for the boys. The girlfriend didn't like it, so i watched it again without her 10 out of 10

'Desperate crimes' is a not-too-bad crime & action B-movie, in a very Italian setting. Its Italian (harbor) flavor comes out abundantly, and contrasts very well with the American mind of the male lead searching for his lost lover girl. In the end he walks away with the other stranger in this movie: the female German hotel-receptionist.'Desperate Crimes' also has its weak spot: it is presented as a Traci Lords vehicle. That is far from any truth, for Traci's part is small and non-substantial here. Playing a heroine addict doesn't suit her either, for Traci Lords is just too beautiful for that. Back in 1993, this movie clearly indicates how Traci's stern refusal to go naked forced her into such a minor role.

This movie was bad... The main character would wander aimlessly for little to no reason what so ever. He is in love with his girlfriend, but long before he knows what happens to her, he messes around with someone else (but continues to risk his life looking for the old girl friend.) Pointless and horrible! The acting is bad, the only names anyone ever heard of (Denise Crosby and Traci Lords) are barely in the movie, and the plot absurd.I can not express enough that this movie should be avoided. I even enjoy some lousey movies if they can be humorous in their badness, but saddly this movie even avoids that.

This is a weak movie. Not worth seeing and that includes all you bodybuilding fans: Franco Columbo being a former Mr. Olympia winner (I saw him win in Columbus, Ohio in 1976 and again in 1981). There are better movies to see if you're looking for Traci Lords. . . and other than Franco and Traci there is absolutely no reason to watch this.
