it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

My family and I were very into Disney parks after a 1995 Disneyland trip and bought several videos, including this one, that gave us a virtual tour of those parks. This is a very nice direct-to-video program that gives you a tour of some of Disneyland's attractions including Main Street USA, Splash Mountain, It's A Small World and The Haunted Mansion, all the while Disney park characters dance to songs you could sing along to with the on-screen lyrics throughout each tour. In addition to the Disney characters, there are child extras that were filmed as part of the program, which I thought stuck out like a soar thumb, but hey, at least it was nice seeing them having some innocent fun.Disney did a great job in featuring some of Disneyland's best attractions and also did a great job in choreographing the characters' dances and arrangement of songs. My favorite song and dance sequence in the video is The Character Parade, where a stream of characters from various Disney movies stroll down Main Street USA to the delight of the guests, all set through a very nostalgic, melodic, and toe-tapping song.Watching this video brings back much nostalgia, wonder and great memories of Disneyland and its cast members. You get to relive the happy memories at the park and just have some innocent fun and entertainment! Grade A

Disney was a big part of my childhood, and the Disney sing along series always did give me pleasure, not just for the characters, the animation and music but for their entertainment and educational values. Disneyland Fun is wonderful and really makes you yearn to be there. It also gets points for how entertaining it is, with the big array of Disney characters and the interplay between them. The whole video looks wonderful, the dancing is spirited and simple and fun to dance along with and the voice work is consistently great. What makes Disneyland Fun is the music, the melodies are classic Disney and the lyrics are funny and adventurous. Follow the Leader, Whistle While You Work and Zip a Dee Do Dah are delights in themselves, and the Character Parade made my eyes well up with nostalgia. My favourite was Grim Grinning Ghosts, one my brother, sisters and I found very scary as children, but one that now stands as entertaining and genuinely atmospheric. I love the Gothic setting, the costumes, the catchy melody and especially the spooky vocals. All in all, brilliant and one of the best of the series to me. 10/10 Bethany Cox

This movie is awesome! I loved it so much i not only had my own copy as a kid, i kept copies at each of my grandparents houses as well. i can remember hiding behind the couch during "Grim Grinning Ghosts", dancing to "Step in Time", and others. I had pretty much every Disney Sing-Along video, but this was one of my favorites. I've since lost my copies of this video, but have very fond memories of it. When i finally went to Disneyland some years later, i had to see all the places i saw in the video. All of the Disney sing-alongs are amazing, and come in handy at nap time while babysitting. My 4-year-old cousin now hides behind the couch when she watches "Grim Grinning Ghosts" on my grandmas copy. Needless to say, i now hide with her just to pretend I'm scared, though its no longer scary. Everyone with small children needs to get this video!

We've had this video for years and recently started watching it daily with our 2-year-old in preparation for his first trip to Disneyland. Whenever we turn it on he is riveted to the TV until it's over. He has learned to recognize the characters and has started naming them. My husband and I also enjoy seeing the different places at Disneyland (although 15 years ago) and how they have changed. The music is classic Disney and the character dancing is good. The "actors" placed throughout the video as "guests" do stand out in the crowd. It's obvious which people are actors, and which are really "guests" at the park. This video is due for release on DVD on September 27, 2005! We can't wait!
