Highly Overrated But Still Good
Gutsycurene
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Humaira Grant
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Edwin
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

So our hero boy(Conner) impregnates two girls at the same time. One is Heather and other is Amanda. The film tries and fails to pretend that Amanda is innocent and a goody two shoes while Heather is an evil witch. But in actuality, its Heather who is the heroine, and you'll agree with me when you read what she had to go through: 1. Conner impregnates her and then behaves like he doesn't give a *beep* about her.2. Conner goes to lamaze classes with Amanda but doesn't give a *beep* about her. She doesn't get to go to any lamaze classes, with or without Connor.3. She makes him breakfast and he brushes her off to go out with Amanda. Whats she supposed to feel? 4. Everyone throws a baby shower for Amanda but no one even cares about her. She doesn't get to have any baby shower. They could have at least halfheartedly invited her to Amanda's baby shower. But no. How is she supposed to feel? 5. Conner's mom tries to buy her off with money and on top of that, instead of dealing with her directly, she goes off and deals with her father like she is his property. How is she supposed to feel about Conner's mom after this? 6. Her Dad takes off on her with the money meant for her baby. Whats her fault? 7. Her Mom abandoned her as well and left her with a dad who couldn't care less about her.8. Conner acts all lovey dovey with Amanda and doesn't even have the common decency to say Hi to her when she boards the bus to go for the field trip. In fact, she walks up to the school with baby cramps while he's enjoying his time with Amanda.9. Conner walks off with Amanda into the jungle or whatever and leaves her behind to deal with her baby cramps. No ones gives a *beep* about her when she's bending over with pain.10. She's the one in labour pains and Conner is going around everywhere looking and asking for Amanda. She is missing too but he doesn't even think about her.11. Some abusive ex boyfriend is blackmailing her and trying to destroy her life.12. She has to give birth in a godforsaken jungle with no health facilities around, begging Amanda to help her with the delivery, and Amanda gives birth in a hospital with all her loved ones fawning all over her.13. Amanda assaults her in front of the whole school while she is pregnant. She still shows big heart and doesn't file charges against Amanda. Amanda never shows up to apologize and thank her for not pressing charges. Conner defends Amanda for assaulting her. Then Conner's mom comes to her hospital bed and behaves like a bitch instead of sympathizing with her for the assault.14. Everyone doubts that she is carrying Conner's baby and make her do a paternity test just to be sure. But no one even doubts Amanda or asks her for a paternity test. How is she supposed to feel? 15. Conner goes to ultrasound with Amanda even when he knows that she's going with her mother. But he doesn't care about Heather at all who doesn't have anyone to go with and has to go to ultrasound all alone. Then he got upset with her and walked out on her when she tried to show him the ultrasound photo.16. Conner snaps at her and walks out when she wishes to go buy a crib for the baby.17. There is not a single character in the movie who sympathizes with her. She has to fight all her battles alone.18. After all of the above, she screams with frustration and despair when she's alone, and all the audiences concur that she's a psycho bitch. She isn't even allowed to express her feelings without everyone being so judgmental. And all of the above when her hormones and emotions are all over the place due to pregnancy.Sure, she was a little obnoxious at times but that could have been solved just with Conner sitting her down and talking with her about improving her interpersonal communication and respecting his parents. And if Conner had made her feel like she could rely on him then she would have told him about her crazy ex boyfriend blackmailing her instead of trying to deal with it alone. As far as I'm concerned, everyone failed her, even the audience. She is the true hero of this movie.

I didn't think I was going to like this movie but, I did. The one thing I did not like was the number of commercial breaks and the lengths of them. I really think Lifetime has gone too far with the amount of commercials they try to insert into each movie. They are almost unwatchable. I used to keep my TV on Lifetime and LMN pretty much all the time. These days, not so much. It used to be LMN was all movies. They should change it to Lifetime Reality Crap. They have so many great movies archived away and they choose to show crap like Killer Kids, etc. I wish they would go back to the programming they had 10 - 15 years ago. Anyways, I thought the acting was pretty good. It kept my interest.

My rating for this film, not a bad one as films go, was lowered due to the morality question. I objected to all parents concerned accepting the situation as is, a shower party thrown by friends in honor of the nice girl, and the fight in the hallway viewed by all students and staff with little to nothing done. Years ago, pregnant teens went to special schools when their conditions became shall we say noticeable. As far as the film itself, the acting was good and with the particular Lifetime flair, our evil girl, by film's end, is up to her old tricks, so we don't know what is really going to happen. The guy who got the 2 girls into trouble is depicted as clean cut, from an affluent family, and with college intentions. These type of films should not be made to the message here. Let's continue with the themes of sanctity of marriage and protecting yourself.
