It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

I discovered this masterpiece because my father bought the VHS for me, maybe the year after it's release.So, it has been an unconditional love for 22 years now...Everything is perfect, from the start point with a series of epic characters, so well played by the actors, through a great script and a collection of cult, timeless gags that made it unbeatable.With this one, my love for the Farrelly brothers started, a bit of a punk attitude in the comedy, so politically incorrect, but never losing the caring part towards their characters, even they're handicapped.It has also a super soundtrack that made me say "That's the dumb&dumber song" instead of "Pretty woman" haha

Dumb and Dumber is the best. Everyone I know who has seen this movie said it was OK, enjoyable, or hated it. And I get them but this movie has something that most movies in the stupid comedy genre don't have. Jim Carry to this day is my favorite actor and this is the first movie I saw that he was in. I don't watch it a lot so that the jokes don't get old and they never do. Will always be my all time favorite.

I love this movie. Not perfect, a lot crude, but... I like slapstick comedy. The actors were great. The music was dreamy. The visuals were beautiful. Seems like a waste of time writing a review about such a great movie, except maybe for someone who wants to reminisce, but, I must pay homage. If you haven't seen it. You are an idiot. That's right. Don't let the door hit you on the way to get a copy. Watch it, dummy.This is probably the only rating of 10 I will give to a movie. I suppose Star Wars might be another. There might have been one over-the-top scene (in my opinion), but I can't get enough of all the others.
