Amusing but disconcerting Macarroni/Tortilla or Gazpacho Western with plenty of action , crossfire , brawls , double-crosses , twists and loads of shots . Butifarra Western realized in laughable style with a screenplay written by the prolific Ignacio F Iquino , including amusing dialogue , silly situations , plot twists and turns . Spanish production filmed in Catalunya , full of familiar faces , action , exaggerated characters , crossfire and lots of shots and fights . The movie is running out of ideas a bit , but it has some nice moments here and there . It deals with three nasty robbers , 3 burly brothers called Bud (Cris Huerta) , Ray (Ricardo Palacios) , Charles (Tito García) that want to take an amount of money . As they assault a bank , but along the way kidnap a gorgeous girl , Sheila (Margit Kocsis) , who results to be the sheriff's (Daniel Martin) 's girlfriend. Shortly after , the three villain but likeable bandits face off new enemies as Brian (Manuel Barrios) and being relentless pursued by two Marshals , Alan Whitman (Daniel Martín) and the senior Carrigan (Gustavo Re) .
Hilarious tortilla Western in Terence Hill/Bud Spencer style in which three drifters carry out several adventures , hold-up a bank , kidnapping a beatiful girl , aboard a train , brawls and resolve a conflict among them , being mercilessly chased by two sheriffs . Along the way take place a lot of fights , punches , hits , slaps and kick-asses .
This stirring tortilla/Ravioli Western packs thrills , shootouts , noisy action , humor with tongue-in-cheek and riding pursuits . The Spanish westerns of this era were far more likely to try and emulate their American source material than cultivate a distinctive style of their own the way the Italians were doing but their product , though this ¨None of the Three Were Called Trinity ¨ or "Ninguno de los tres se llama Trinidad" has penchant for hilarious happenings , as if you like comical westerns remains lightly watchable . It stars Daniel Martin , a no much known actor who played several Spaghettis, such as : ¨Fistful of Dollars¨, ¨Valley of the Dancing Widows¨, ¨The last of the Mohicans¨, ¨7 guns for Timothy¨ , ¨Colmillo Blanco¨,¨Judas... ¡toma tus monedas! ¨, ¨Let's go and Kill sartana¨, among others . As sympathetic acting by starring trio , the fatty usually secondaries : Tito Garcia , Cris Huerta , Ricardo Palacios. And three beautiful girls : Fanny Grey , Margit Kocsis , Judy Collins . Here appear important secondaries from Spaghetti/Tortilla or Paella Western , these are the followings : Gustavo Re , Gaspar 'Indio' González , Juan Torres , and Cesar Ojinaga .
The picture being regularly photographed by Antonio L. Ballesteros hijo , though is necessary a fine remastering because the film-copy is washed-out . Mostly filmed in atmospheric scenarios on location in Fraga , (Huesca) , similar to Almeria , and a Western village located in ¨Splugues De Llobregat¨ , it resulted to be the location where were shot lots of Westerns produced and directed by Catalan people as Alfonso Balcazar , J.J. Balcazar , Jose Antonio De La Loma , Juan Bosch , Xavier Marchal , Manuel Esteba , Ignacio F. Iquino , and Julio Buchs , among others , because Almeria was too far and the Fraga landscapes bear remarkable resemblance . There are many professional technicians and ordinary assistant direction and regular production design by José Rovira , he creates a passable scenario . Anti-climatic musical score by Enrique Escobar , including some songs sung by John Campbell .
This was the sequel to ¨Los fabulosos de Trinidad¨ (1972) directed by Ignacio F Iquino with similar cast as Fanny Grey , Cris Huerta , Ricardo Palacios and Richard Harrison .The motion picture was poorly produced by Ignacio F Iguino , ¨IFI¨, and lousily directed by Pedro Ramírez who was an expert on comedy , filming vehicles for the Spanish comic named Jose Luis Ozores such as ¨ El Gafe¨, ¨El Tigre Chamberi¨, ¨Los Ladrones Somos Gente Honrada¨, ¨Recluta con Niño¨ and made a Horror : ¨School of death¨ and two Chorizo Western for Alfonso Balcázar and Ignacio Iquino : ¨Judas Toma Tus monedas¨, and "None of the Three Were Called Trinity" .
