Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

As a Ron Paul supporter who put his boots on the ground during the campaign, I simply loved this documentary. The film brought back many great memories of the good times we had, and informed me of some of the moments of the campaign that I had forgotten. The interviews were excellent, the cast of characters unforgettable. this film may not be for everyone, neocons and leftists will probably not understand, but for someone who was there, and lived the experience of working to change America, to right it's path, I am extremely pleased that this film was made. I especially liked how the producers exposed the media bias, especially Fox News, and the vendetta they carried against Ron in the debates and commentary. The country should have been up in arms over the shameful treatment he received from the media. Dr. Paul should be commended for his quiet dignity through all this, and the film makes this evident.I can't wait for "For Liberty, part 2, Ron Paul wins, 2012!"

I wish I could show this movie to everyone I know. It pretty well sums up the many things wrong in this country and the need for major change starting with getting the right person in charge (Ron Paul) and cleaning house. (The white one that is)! It had to have taken a lot of thought to so perfectly express the things that Ron Paul believes in with a documentary. This film makes me feel like there might be hope for us yet though the powers that be will fight tooth and nail to keep things the way they are. Still, it is good to know that there are still people out there with enough sense to see through the lies thrown at them on a daily basis. To the film makers I say thanks and keep up the great work!

This film was incredibly well made. It looks at the 2008 Ron Paul presidential run from the viewpoint of a die hard supporter. Sure RP ended up losing, and the media drug him through the dirt...but a group saw through the trash and came to understand Liberty in its purest form of Constitutional limited government. Chris Rye does a great job showing the spark that kindled a fire for freedom in the hearts of millions.Ron's story is an inspiring one; he alone stood by his word and ideals during the campaign (and entire political career: never voting to raise taxes, never voting for war, never voting for more regulation, never voting against the Constitution). He talked sense and truth during the debates and was HECKLED by other candidates for speaking out against the bloodbath known as the Iraq War. Ron Paul has the fire and passion of a true American. Big Government, Big Business, WATCH YOUR BACKS!

My brother shared this movie with me and I am really thrilled that he did. I have shared it with many people and they loved it as much as I did. Word of mouth has brought this movie to many households that might not have seen it otherwise. It is amazing to see how well these guys did. Their movie is simple and clean and a powerful statement of the common man without all the Hollywood hype. This movie shows a true grassroots effort to peacefully affect change in our nation. Grassroots currently seems to be the only way that we are going to be heard. America is still a great nation and we sometimes need to be reminded of it. This is a movie that I will continue to share with anyone and everyone. Thank you to those who worked so hard!
