Good story, Not enough for a whole film

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

If you don't know why Grant is the dumbest man on Earth, no worries. It was a long time ago and she seems to have thrived without him.4W1F has some good eye candy AND the jokes are punctual and never rushed. This show is a must see for the RomCom crowd. It's a good show but, for me, does not lend itself well to repeated viewings. I can watch this every 7 - 10 years.

Most of the women paraded in this disaster were attractive, but the men were awful. Reading the other reviews that seems to be the reverse of what the American reviewers thought. I like Andie MacDowell, although she didn't vary her act much, but I didn't like Hugh Grant, who didn't vary his act at all. American reviewers thought the opposite, except for Hugh Grant. This film is also far too politically correct. At least, it is for me. It's a comedy, but it isn't funny, unless you think Hugh Grant is funny, just for being himself, as always. The Britishness is wildly overdone, and so is the social cross-section. The language is witlessness inspired, especially the wedding service by Mr Bean. The events are uninteresting. The message is pointless. I don't know why I've given it so many stars. My advice is: stay away.

This movie is about a man who thinks it is not important to marry and single is one of the way of life. However, his thought changes through three weddings and a funeral. This movie describes a man who likes a woman, but she marries other man. I was impressed with the scene that a man who takes part in the woman's wedding dies in the wedding hall. I was very surprised because I cannot imagine that a wedding and a funeral happens at the same time. However, this scene is a very important turning point in this movie because his idea about wedding starts to change. I can understand he is fearful of solitary death through conversation with his friend, so he decides to marry a woman who lives him for along time. I was also impressed with the scene that he refuses to vow to love the bride for his lifetime. Before the wedding, he hears the woman who loves for a long time gets divorced, so he decides to be with the woman. I can understand his conflict between the feeling that he would not like to hurt the bride and the feeling that he would like to go out with the woman through his action, voice, and expressions. I think this movie is very important today because there is a mainstream that we should marry. I think whether we should marry or not should not be forced, so this movie is significant to show an idea of wedding today.

Why is this mediocre romantic comedy-drama film so popular? The protagonist, Charles (played by Hugh Grant), happens to meet an American, Carrie (played by Andie MacDowell), at four weddings and a funeral. The biggest problem with this dreadful film is that Carrie is very unlikeable. She's cold, aloof, selfish and arrogant. She's not particularly physically attractive either. It's difficult to believe that Charles thinks she's wonderful.
