Myron Clemons
A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

This movie is 100% cliche, over-done plot lines and characters. I was surprised that people with the means to make a movie would bother with such simplistic, stereotyped content.
AND YET, it somehow managed to cheer me up. In fact, I saw the movie two years ago, and now I'm trying to track it down again, looking for a fun movie for a pre-teen Spanish girl. I remembered two themes from the movie:
1) A young woman chooses between a shallow-glamorous marriage and her chosen career in science.
2) A young couple finds romance together after years of respecting the boundaries of friendship.
Both of these are great themes for younger girls. And the simplicity of the plot and characters allows that age group to contemplate life without confusion and drama.
I actually can't remember if the entire movie is age-appropriate for adolescents. But if it is, I'd say it's better that many of the Disney movies, with their steep sexual innuendos.

Film with a rating 5.8 on IMDb but I really must admit that I really really liked the performances and the story, unfortunately, i miss you more complexity to the characters, were simple and predictable, even so it is an amazing film full of emotions, is discover how love comes to turn things again as it has always done, perhaps as much used phrase "Love returns do" maybe it was much copied to other films that left to be desired. All film entertains you never bores you, have a sense of humor and atmosphere of empathy in the characters. It was an excellent excuse to use Mexican territory of Quintana Roo for a great love story, it is worth noting that it is the first indent made for film Martha Higareda, not bad for a Mexican actress who has flirted with Hollywood and wants exceeded itself . For me I give it a 7 to this film. I really like movies with many emotions and not get bored.

Martha Higareda plays Ana Paula, a girl whose dream is to get married and have the perfect wedding until her not-so-perfect fiancée cheated on her with her cousin. Miriam Higareda plays Daniela, a care-free girl that has been in love of her best friend all her life but she has never had the courage to tell him so. Ana Paula gets drunk and by accident she finds herself in the middle of the jungle, where she meets Erik, a young volunteer who shows her a different way of seeing life, and Daniela ends up staying a few days with her best friend's family for his dad's birthday, and she is decided to let him know how she feels about him.The movie can be described as the typical romantic comedy, but what makes it different and better is that the characters are realistic, and well performed, you can identify and root for these girls as they find the courage to get out of their comfort zones and be brave and roll the dice.Mexican Cinema more often than not does not get its due, but there are great talents that can put a very enjoyable romantic comedy, that is very entertaining and very funny.

Horrible film, it's lame I feel ashamed of Mexican film industry. I could not keep watching it for more than 15 minutes. Has a lousy script, hollow, zero creativity, no wit whatsoever. Dismal performances and direction, could not believe it that nowadays Mexico continues to do mostly bad movies. It seems that if Gael, Luna, or the Bichir brothers are not in the movie they just can't do something worth to watch, not even a good story. I do not understand how it is that cinema's golden age was of such quality stories and movies you can watch over and over again and remain valid over time and most movies today are so bad. Take for example the remake of "Hasta el viento tiene miedo" also with Higadera and awful as hell with a really stupid script. Crappy movie.
