A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

I recently came across this movie and thought that it looked interesting, with a decent sounding storyline = a young college girl suspects that her neighbours are serial killers and plus it has a few familiar faces in it namely Tobin Bell from the Saw movies, Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars & Batman) and Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years). And so for 25p I can't go wrong."The Killer Next Door" which seems to be its UK title wasn't a particularly good movie, it's not terrible by all means I have seen worse but on a small scale it kind of works in a TV movie kind of way and there were small shades of tension and real fear for the leading heroine Molly (Danica McKellar), like when she is menaced by the serial killers Tobin Bell and the other guy, but that is all let down by the poor acting of not just her but 90% of the cast, including Billy Dee Williams who doesn't seem to be making an effort at all just plain wooden throughout. The only saving grace was Tobin Bell who was very convincing and scary throughout the movie. But the effects were laughable to say the least and I did find Danica's foul mouth hilarious throughout and her sassy friend Rhea was just plain awful and should have died sooner. Okay I understand that this movie was low budget and that shows through and through, but it had a decent storyline but was poorly executed with shoddy acting.

-The acting was bad.-The Script was bad. -The actors themselves were bad.-The idea behind the movie was a good one, but whoever decided that they should be the one's to write it were sadly mistaken.-There were way to many cliches, and horrible jokes. -I don't reccomend this movie to anyone.

This movie is a hilarious tongue-in-cheek movie. Great for those who feel the world is asleep at the wheel... Less perceptive people might see it as a bad b-film but it is really a wonderful parody of the genre.

This film, seemingly, went straight to cable TV. That should tell you something. The plot has Danica McKellar (Winnie, from the Wonder Years)as a dysfunctional college student living in a house with a female roommate. New neighbors (two men) move in next door, and she quickly becomes curious about them. They make it know that her curiosity is unwelcome, and she then becomes suspicious about their activities. Soon, she realizes they're serial killers, but no one will believe her, not even the police. That is, until Billy Dee Williams, who plays an outcast detective, helps prove her correct. The storyline is far-fetched, illogical and just plain stupid. If you're a Danica McKellar fan, there is little new here but her cursing for the first time. She's still sweet, vulnerable Winnie, only with an occasional foul mouth. This isn't Billy Dee Williams shining moment on film, either. On a scale from 1 to 10, (with 10 being outstanding), this film is a solid 1!
