I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Grappler Baki is a great short anime film about a man named Baki Hanma who goes up against various opponents and even defeat a man who beats his enemy's by pulling out their Jugular veins. I really enjoyed it. The art is really well done for 1994 and the voice acting is good too.It is based on a forty two volume manga series by Keisuke Itagaki which I have never read, and there is also a TV series called Baki the Grappler that is licensed by FUNimation.Be sure to see this if you can, that is, if you like martial arts and lots of action with blood. I give Grappler Baki: The Ultimate Fighter a 7/10

This movie is about fighting. I can tell you that without spoiling anything, this movie mainly consists of 2 two fights in an arena. And guess what? In 45min minutes that is quite a good entertainment. The first fight is OK and has some surprises and the second one gets weird with strange techniques and stuff. The animation itself was well done. 45min is a short time for a story to develop so there isn't really much going on besides fighting. What bothered me was a bit the slight homo-erotic components and transgender looks of the second fighter, that made this anime kinda weird. But still it's enjoyable, if you're in the mood for a not so long anime and you like fighting-sports you can watch this.
