Lilian Larwood (lilian-larwood) I watched this back in 2006 and I got to say this is one of the funniest films I've seen in such a long time. Bam Margera's (technically) directorial debut known as "Haggard" really delivers something special and original to us as it's really a romantic comic tragedy, but made by either Jackass stars or CKY stars (if you're fans with any of them...) Haggard tells the story of Ryan Dunn (playing himself) who gets dumped by the love of his life 'Glauren' for some dude named 'Hellboy' and ever since the devastating news he swears revenge and gets his pals Valo and Falcone to do his dirty word (some of that is pun) at Glauren's house. It's such a ridiculous concept but somehow I have a feeling that we can all relate to this film due to losing someone we love and having mixed emotions over it.What I love about this film is that it's a film clearly made just for fun. Sure it was funded and well planned/structured, however you can tell they had a good time making it and most of the characters are played by either friends or family of Bam's. But there's something personal behind it and I didn't realise until now that the story is based on Ryan's actual love life where something like that actually happened. You really feel sorry for Ryan and his pain behind it all and for that you're keen to know what happens until the very end.What I didn't like about the film and unfortunately this happens a lot. I didn't particularly like the skateboarding montages, and I felt that Bam needed to remind us that they're also skilled skaters as well as actors. Is this CKY I'm watching now or a narrative-film? I'm a massive fan of HIM and thought that the music choice was incredible so there's a positive about those random montages throughout the feature.Overall a fantastic film about love and anger, dealing with the sadness that we can all relate to if we ever had someone to brake our hearts, but still laugh out loud to those lovable characters who either get p***ed on, smear s*** on the door, videotape girl's under wears in their house.

abercrombie2415 I bought this movie just to see Bam because i was really loving him, but after seeing this i don't like him much. I mean, his acting was good and everything i guess, but whenever it showed the totally unnecessary skate scenes i was just saying to myself, "Alright, we know you're a professional skateboarder, now can we get back to Ryan Dunn?" Dunn, Rake, and Brandon really made the movie in my perspective.I noticed that Jenn Rivell, (obviously), and Missy Rothstein were both in Haggard, but who Bam was dating at the time? Anyways, i actually enjoyed Haggard and i think it's really like no other movie i've ever seen. It's sort of in it's own category.

Exit_of_99c_Special Right from the start, I didn't like any of the characters in this film. It didn't help that the film was a glorified skateboard video.A brief explanation of my tastes: I love b-films, campy titles, and movies that target my special brand of entertainment. This failed to hit the mark.While viewing the initial scenes, which had no point, I drew my first assumption. The character being glorified walking on rooftops, skating about, and just being present for no reason was to be the director/writer/actor. Sure enough, it was. The problem with one person doing so much is the lack of outside perspective. This film could have benefited from someone else being the director, writer, or actor than 'Bam'.The characters in this story are for the most part highly obnoxious and annoying. The lead character is a pathetic 'dumpee' who whines about it for the whole film. There are a string of other players who range in annoyance.Oddly, one of my favorite characters was the most annoying, played by Raab Himself. He played his part in a very convincing fashion making every scene he was in uncomfortable. I related to the character with a feeling that I kinda wanted to try and help this simple minded kid.I'm struggling to say something good about this film, a reason why I voted 3 stars and not 1. I can't say exactly, but there were a few things in this film that elevated it from being unwatchable.What this film made me feel is 'When is this over?'. I wouldn't suggest this film to anyone.

teddyryan The CKY2 Gang are much funnier with DV cams and someone running around with a pogo stick. When Bam Margera and company try to formulate fictional elements into a cohesive story, the results are disastrous. Ryan Dunn (the guy that ate a Matchbox car), gives a poor performance that only stops bothering us when he's running around or watching his holmies skateboard. Bam's film-making isn't much better. Without the benefit of explosions or running into walls, he hits us over the head with time-lapse shots or images of Ryan sadly sitting in his bed. Unfortunately, none of it works and one begins to wish they could eject this DVD and replace it with the original Westchester, PA works. Nonetheless, there is a bright spot in the film. And, that is Chris Raab. Commpletely blowing his co-star Brandon DiCimillio out of water, Raab's portrayal of a retarded version of Raab himself is quite funny. If only there was more of him and less Dunn.
