Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

What is truly hard to forget in this film is the sensitive performance of Polly Shannon in the role of Nicky Dawson, a child of nature who leads expeditions in the veld of South Africa. While the film as a whole is routine, Shannon is a standout in working with lackluster dramatic material. The far-fetched plot revolves around an apparent murder committed by a gold digger named Gillman, who masterminded the death his wife Sandra in the explosion of a ship so that he could receive a two-million dollar payout. But not so fast! Sandra had a twin sister, separated from her at birth and adopted by a kind man who runs safaris in Africa.A slick private eye from Chicago named Max Werner has become obsessed with Sandra after watching endless reels of home movies of her. When he discovers the twin sister, he travels to Africa and, of course, falls in love with Nicki. A ridiculous sting operation follows where Nicki tires to impersonate the sister she never knew.Nicki is so different from Sandra that she cannot fool the quick-thinking villain Gillman. Like everything in this film, the ending rang as hollow and pat. But rising above the mediocre drama was the excellent work by Ms. Shannon as Nicki. Max could never forget her, and neither will the audience members of this made-for-television Harlequin romance-mystery yarn.

Am I crazy,or are there two different actors playing the part of the husband?I'm sure it was Bruce Greenwood in the wedding day video at the beginning of the film, but later it was Michael McManus!.I've just watched it on television and didn't record it,so maybe I missed something.Put me out of my misery---please! I thought the plot was original and we were treated to some beautiful scenery. If I'm right about the two different actors, then that is why I am giving it a five.If I'm wrong, then I'll give it an eight. I quite like these Harlequin mysteries.I just saw another one yesterday, although I guessed the murderer quite early on.

Stumbled on this movie by accident. It was quite entertaining and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The main stars are very attractive and it was wonderful to see Chad Everett---gorgeous as ever. Tim Dutton is wonderful and looks-wise, a combination of Antonio Banderas, Bruce Springsteen, and my old boyfriend(if you can imagine that!). The scenery was stunning: Africa and Greece. The plot was pretty good and kept me guessing as to the outcome; it held my interest, which says a lot. (If I find my mind wandering during a movie, then I know it's not very good.) I taped it for my collection--I'd watch it again, just to drool over Tim Dutton.

I saw some of the older Harlequin romances recently and I have to admit that older means better! Production of Hard to Forget is mediocre, storyline is not big enough to fill 90 min. movie so instead of action they talk and talk and talk. It is really only for romances' fans!
