Leofwine_draca HIDE AND CREEP is another indie horror flick based around redneck zombie mayhem. The story is about an outbreak of zombies in a small town, in response to which a group of rednecks get their guns and go hunting. The film follows them around as they engage with quirky townsfolk and the zombies turn out to be rarely seen. This is mostly a waste of time, featuring forced and unfunny humour and the occasional nude scene.

O2D I'll be the first to admit that I don't usually like or even understand zombie movies but this one is worse than most.I guess they are trying to be funny but they fail massively.The only time I laughed was when the guy at the police station told the TV guy to put the game back on.They keep trying to use the same joke about the one guy loving his car more than his girlfriend but it wasn't even funny the first time.I wasn't really expecting it to be funny but I was expecting some kind of plot and there wasn't any.There is literally no story or ending.Zombies show up and bite some people, end of movie.The worst part is that anyone who has a speaking part and gets bitten never transforms into a real zombie.They eat brains but just look human.This is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Some people didn't get it, but this film is a complete comedy. It is a very different film, and honestly it's funnier Thant most Hollywood comedy films. Basically everything in the film is hilarious, the characters, the dialog, the zombies, and the funniest part is how easily the characters come to terms with the zombie apocalypse. It's hilarious. I recommend this movie.

triciaklly I generally don't hold out much hope for straight-to-video horror films, but this was brilliant--such a pleasant surprise! It was obviously made by folks who know and love horror movies--especially zombie flicks. This is evidenced in the opening scene where Chuck, the video store guy, talks over the phone with a customer about zombie films (while "Plan Nine" plays on the TV, no less). This movie was made with real reverence and humor. The script was hilarious--it made me laugh out loud several times. And the acting was pretty darn good, considering that the cast was largely "amateur." No one should criticize it for having a low-budget look--it was a low-budget film, for crying out loud! And it was worth a hundred of Hollywood's big-budget, CGI lovin', based-on-a-video-game, crappy zombie flicks. Just get a six-pack and watch it!
