jamesstewart1977 Acting is horrific, there is no real storyline and no suspense at all. Hard to understand why there are so many good reviews for it as all I saw was a B movie that I could have probably done a better job of myself. Again, I cannot reiterate enough - the acting is awful!

eric-frisco Mgm's hit and run has some wild scenes and some more silly scenes. The garage scene where she clubs him on the fender was wacky. The part where he's stalking her in the house creeped me out. but the best when he ties her up with party lights on the car for the ride from hell. too bad it's in the last hour, i'd have loved to see more of that stuff. the parts that were not so hot were all the split screen action when they talk on the phone, just seemed a wee bit blah. i particularly liked when the teacher kills the big talking boyfriend Ricky who i wanted to strangle myself. also when he kills the wife, I was shocked and did not expect. if the mid 20 or 30 minutes was less dream-like, i think i would have liked this even more. also by the end, I wasn't sure who got beat up more, the bad guy or the jeep!

lambchoprare Hit and run has some influence from "Creepshow 2" and "I know what you did last summer". Creepshow 2's "dead man's curve" episode comes to mind when watching this flick. You know the episode where this adulterous woman leaves her lover and drives home but hits this homeless guy on the highway. The guy keeps reappearing in all different places on the car, tormenting her, he's still alive and says "thanks for the ride, lady". Well this movie is not like that but it has kind of a similar tongue-in-cheek thing going on, I know it's a stretch but almost an homage in some ways, with the teenage girl Mary hitting and running over a bi-polar teacher who was out wandering aimless in the woods, and later in her garage finds him there hanging on bumper. She buries him but the guy keeps coming back from the dead to get revenge on her looking real ugly. I'd classify this as either a pretty decent B horror movie or a black comedy, or both.

Quentin My review. "roller-coaster" is the song playing at the opening before the girl Mary gets in her car and slides off the road. And at the end I realized this was probably appropriate choice. The whole thing is a roller-coaster through Mary's descent to insanity I think. After she hits a sicko dude on the road (Hello!? Drunk driving anyone??), crazy chick doesn't know it but she brought the guy back stuck on her bumper. She finds him in the garage bleeding to death. She try to help him but he doesn't want help. He wants to kill her because he's all bloody and screwed up. So Mary knock him down with golf clubs and then she bury him (digging with a Frisbee!! very funny) and when he survives of course he's angry and wants payback. So she's got to kill the dude again or be killed. She tries to cover up the whole accident with help of her moron boyfriend who had me cackling. But dead teacher ain't happy and comes back to play cat and mouse with drunk driver girl. He ties her on the bumper (with Christmas lights no less), so she gets to feel what it's like on a roller-coaster drive. I don't want to spoil it but only one can live and the other will probably be in big trouble. (hit and run) 6/10
