I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Kari the Incredible's babysitter, is a somewhat dopey and untrained girl. Who is in the shock her life when she is asked to look after the youngest child of the incredible's Jack Jack. Jack Jack not only creates a living hell for Kari when he shows her the 'other' more super side of life he seems to have changed her personality from a dopey untrained girl to a erratic bordering on crazy freak. For those of us who have watched and loved the incredibles, this little skit is a welcomed addition as it not only retains the comedic side of the original film but it perfectly coexist with the unseen aspects in the film. Jack Jack Attack also has a kind, feeling to begin with but as Jack Jack shows his true colours it quickly changes from a calm evening full of supposedly fun exercises to a chaotic storm, that will not only have you itching for more but will put an unexpected smile on to your face as well.Overall it is a very enjoyable little skit that not only makes you feel like you enjoyed it, but also answers all those nagging questions about the movie that may have been plaguing you the whole time by filling in the blanks for you.

The short film by Pixar and Walt Disney 'Jack-Jack Attack' is an extremely entertaining extra from the movie 'The Incredibles'. The story is about Kari, an enthusiastic babysitter, who babysits a hyperactive baby with superpowers, called Jack-Jack.Kari the babysitter has no idea what she's in for when she agrees to babysit young Jack-Jack. At the beginning, Jack-Jack appears to be just an average kid, but when Kari starts attempting to show the baby flash- cards, he disappears. This leads to Kari chasing Jack-Jack around the house, trying to catch him. While she's chasing him, his other super- powers are also revealed- he can burst into flames and shoot electricity from his hands. In the end, the babysitter is exhausted, and just watches Jack-Jack, with a fire extinguisher in her hands.Jack-Jack Attack is fictional, and aimed at young children, although parents would probably enjoy it too, as it is very well made and funny. The use of well-made animations, funny and mostly believable characters and an interesting plot create possibly one of Pixar's best short films. All in all, the short film was in my opinion very good, and made me want to see 'The Incredibles' again.

"Jack Jack Attack Review" The short film Jack Jack Attack animated by Pixar and Walt Disney is sure to leave you hanging onto the edge of your seat. This film originated upon the well-enjoyed movie, The Incredibles. Pixar films have consistently impressed millions and amaze us every time with their clever use of special effects. This film is mainly targeted at children and teenagers, although, this short can definitely be enjoyed through all age groups and genders. Pixar films have provided us with laughter and comedy throughout countless years. Jack Jack Attack had to fill the shoes of The Incredibles, which it did quite brilliantly. Not only that, but it was managed in under 5 minutes, which reminded me why I enjoyed the original in the first place. This film has definitely taken The Incredibles to a whole new level. One of the great things about Jack Jack Attack is the actors. This particular flick revolves around Kari, a buoyant teen babysitter and how she copes with babysitting an "ordinary" baby, or so she thinks. The babysitting begins to get out of hand after a Mozart CD begins to play. Unable to contact his parents, all hell is beginning to break loose over at the Paar residence. Jack Jack has decided to show Kari what he can really do, either turning into a flaming inferno, shooting lasers or teleporting through and into solid walls. The quality and plot of the actual scene made this short, much more believable. Jack Jack Attack is a great short film for all ages. The use of marvelous animations, special effects and believable characters combined with an interesting plot, makes this film easily one of the greatest shorts Pixar has to offer. This short has been linked with original so well, that it makes me want to watch the original all over again. For anyone who has only seen this short, but hilarious scene, I strongly recommend that you go see the original "The Incredible's". The film is sure to allow yourself to enjoy quality entertainment to the fullest. Well done Pixar!

A comedy based short, Brad Bird uses amazing animation techniques to show expression an emotion through the characters, so you can genuinely feel pity for Kari and her stressful job as a babysitter. Bret Parker, who voiced young Kari, did an incredible job with the expression in her voice, to show distress and discomfort, along with playfulness and joy. The same goes for Bud Luckey, who voices Detective Rick Dicker, used technique in his voice to show authority, yet little emotion. Still, even with little to no emotion in his voice, Bud Luckey did an extreme job voicing Detective Rick Dicker. I enjoy the way that this film exert shows how any ordinary human being handles the extreme responsibility of taking care of someone who, unwillingly and unknowingly, has complete control over you. This is seen in the short in the way that during the beginning of the exert, Kari being completely ignorant and oblivious to the fact that Jack-Jack has supernatural powers. As the short progresses, Kari gradually begins to be aware of Jack-Jack extraordinary abilities, and her way of dealing with it is incredibly interesting.Brad Bird showed us how an average person deals with being in a situation where they have to be incredibly careful of their actions, in this case, being that Jack-Jack is only a toddler and Kari's job as a baby-sitter means she holds the incredible responsibility of taking only the most extreme care of him. It also shows that even in situations like these, there are still scenarios where one, or all of the people involved can be put in incredible danger, but the scenarios still must be treated with the utmost safety and concern.Altogether, I thoroughly enjoyed the four minute Pixar short, and thought it was amusing to watch, as well as interesting enough to keep the viewer pleased and entertained throughout.
