BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
ccthemovieman-1 Even though this is good music from a young man who knows how to sing, this DVD was disappointing. For some odd reason, Groban's voice has a distinct nasal sound on some of his notes he sings in this concert. It's definitely noticeable and annoying because he doesn't sound like that on any of his CDs.That, and the shrieking girls between songs, are two negatives that made me regret paying big bucks for this concert package. I should have just stuck with the CD of his work. One of the musicians shown here is a very young violin player. She gets a solo of her own, which she handles nicely. Groban is also more outgoing than normal, kidding with the crowd between songs (evoking more shrieks from the bimbos) and looking very relaxed and confident.
writertlc90 Josh Groban is THE most talented and unique singing sensation working in the biz today. Each of his melodic and purely wonderful songs are well-written, powerful, and even thought-provoking. This DVD, which comes along with the soundtrack, is a perfect way to experience Josh Groban's talent on the big screen. The performances exude an energy and charisma that the CD's can't capture. The lights, the audience, the camera movements all add up to heaven for Grobanites. I thought that the songs in "Josh Groban at the Greek" were even better than his previous DVD concert "Josh Groban in Concert". There are also some great extras that get the viewer to know even more about this rising talent. All-in-all, this is a brilliant, tour-de-force, musical sensation of a DVD that Grobanites, and music-lovers in general should experience right away.
