Synopsis

Having personally witnessed Sir Elton John's failed attempt to adopt a child, a young couple questions themselves if they are ready for kids and whether everyone should match a certain criteria to be either biological or adoptive parents. The search for the answer pushes them into an entire journey through Nepal, Ukraine, China, the United Kingdom and the USA where they face corruption of the adoption system and have to stand against billions of dollars behind it... They meeting people who managed to adopt and those who failed because of their skin color, weight, or habits... In the middle of their investigation, they reveal that the right to have kids can be easily taken away from people even in most civilized countries... no votes needed, the regulations are already in action! Should we just accept these regulations or should fight against them?

Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Christophe Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Kinley This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
eefuni "Kids-R" is not a usual documentary picture. Easy to watch and immediately gripping by the plight of parents trying to adopt children, earnest sincere good people making a tremendous effort at a great cost to them to change, enrich and save lives of kids without parents, but facing an inhuman bureaucratic wall and sometimes viciously aggressive resistance... the film digs dipper and turns the tables on humanity juxtaposing the reality of modern day adoptions problems with the right of every human being to give birth without any regard to its mental, physical and financial state, without any control or supervision in spite of horrible drug habits, violent inclinations and pure greed of giving birth to more children simply to sell them or make money of them. It's a powerful documentary drama that teaches us something new, that makes us look at kids and parents in a very different light. A must see, a surprising story line of inimitable real life, a film that makes you cringe and cry. It should be a part of any school curriculum. A must see for everyone.
