Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

This one of the scariest monster movies ever made. The first Lake Placid was good movie. But this one was better. It was scarier. It has great acting. It also has great story line. It also has great special effects. Some people at lake in the country side battle with killer crocodiles. If you do not like this movie it is your business. But it is not my problem. Nor is the problem of the cast and crew you all did a great job. John Schneider is a great actor. This is one of the best horror movies ever. If you do not get scared of this movie. Then you will not be scared by any movie. It would be bad movie to people who don't like monster movies. Sarah L.a.f.l.e.u.r is a great actress. Sam M.c.M.u.r.r.a.y is a great actor.

Following a series of strange attacks, residents of a small Main lake find a giant crocodile living in the lake and are forced to deal with a dangerous hunter to stop the creature's rampage. This here turned out to be quite an enjoyable creature feature. One of the better features here is that this one manages a lot of action scenes featuring the crocs that are put on-screen quite early in here which allows this one quite a frantic and incredible pace along here. These are quite exciting with the initial scenes of the group being attacked out on the water in the patrol boat, the attack on the friends camping by the lakeside, the failed trap on the beach where they attempt to tranquilize the creature to no avail and the encounter on the water when they manage to successfully trap the croc and it succumbs to their armaments which is a great scene by itself but all the more potent when added alongside the rest of these action scenes. As well, the big finale in the woods works nicely as the staking near the nest features some nice suspense, the chases through the trees get plenty of nice action throughout here and the big brawls featured here gives it plenty of spectacle as well for a really thrilling and exciting finale. The shorter attack bits are also quite fun where it's relegated to brief ambushes that are based more on it popping up unexpectedly for a bite then disappearing again which also helps this one up the violence and gore here as there's some pretty brutal attacks here giving this one a lot to like. That one also manages to highlight its few flaws here as the film does tend to rely a lot on the shorter attacks for the majority of the scenes in the first half. While none of these scenes are really all that bad there's a lack of deviation here which brings this one to a tight, cramped-up feeling when there's a few short action scenes along the way. The only other part about this one that does tend to hold it down is usually horrid CGI featured for the most part here. The crocs are rarely believable here with flat, pixilated bodies that don't match the surroundings, obviously change size and scale from scene-to-scene and in general just looks quite bad. These here are what hold this one down.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Language and Brief Nudity.

For a Sci-Fi Channel production featuring a cast of has-beens and nobodies, this cheapo sequel to Steve Miner's fun creature feature Lake Placid begins deceptively well, with some nifty gore (a juicy spurting stump where an arm used to be) and some gratuitous nudity from a couple of soon-to-be-croc-fodder bimbos.Lake Placid 2 soon flounders, though, when we actually get to see its terrible scaly monsters, which are rendered with such dreadful CGI that the film is rapidly dragged down to the murky depths and thrown into a death roll from which it could never escape.Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider plays Sheriff Riley, the small-town cop who must do battle with the four giant crocs that are feeding on anyone who should venture down to the water's edge at Lake Placid. Aided by tasty ex-squeeze Emily (Sarah Lafleur), and a big-game hunter armed to the teeth with heavy-duty firepower, the plucky lawman sets out to bag himself some reptiles before they make a meal out of his son, who has ill-advisedly gone camping by the lake with some friends.Director David Flores' unimaginative sequel desperately attempts to emulate Miner's original, even going so far as to feature almost identical characters and narrative structure, but fails dismally on nearly all counts. Without a fraction of the original's humour, and way too many REALLY bad digital effects, Lake Placid 2 is one hell of a bad film. Even the fact that the lovely Lafleur strips to her undies for an underwater swim isn't going to convince me to rate this one any higher than a 3.

'This' film' disappointed' me! 'What' happened' to' ten stars? 'Down' the toilet now! 'This' film was only' good for' naked' woman' and their breasts!'That's the' only reason' why people' like 'to' see these films! Not' for the' 'croc for' the breasts' 'of' women! Now come' on' I'm a strict' critic' they've got' to stop' doing these' type of films. Now focus on the' movie at' hand! This' 'film was forgettable and' bad. Don't be' making' 'a' dull' film here! 'What happened' with the first' film was awesome! Now' they went' to just' naked women. There 'is' a scene' where' a bikini' girl is snatched by' the crocodile! Come on' this film' overall' is 'terrible' don't see it!
