A Disappointing Continuation

Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Yash Wade
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

When a Mayor has problems with a Chinese gang the only solution is to hire the services of a Ninja. He simply needs to pay him 1 million $ (It's not a problem to be Ninja and Businessman in the same time). Whatever the plot of the movie seems to be simple, but some "flashback" are very confused. I guess that scenes were deleted during the shooting. The Ninja (Mc Kay)is also Will Stiles' teacher (the mayor kid). He'll try to train him, but wont be as good as Master Miyagi in Karate Kid. Will is just the worst "Sidekick" of all time. Finally it's a fun movie: Not a good one but the cheap effects and the 90's clothes will entertain you!

The version I bought is titled "Lethal Ninja". It is about a city where a gang is running wild, with support from the mob. The police chief does not want to go to Chinatown so the mayor has no one else to turn to... until he receives a card that only says "for hire" and has a phone number on it. After receiving around three cards, the mayor decides to call. He meets a man named J.D. Makay, a ninja. Makay offers to rid the city of the gang, for a price. The story is not too bad. I have seen worse. The fight scenes are not too over the top, which is a good thing. The acting is OK, and the choreography is decent. The movie was worth the price I paid for it. (I found it in the 2 for $5 bin at Wal mart.)
