Phonearl
Good start, but then it gets ruined
Teddie Blake
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Neive Bellamy
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Raymond Sierra
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

Based on a Guy Des Cars novel,a writer despised by intellectuals,"L'Homme Au Double Visage" actually recalls Boileau/Narcejac's stories ,without their intensity and their subtlety.A beautiful surgeon's wife (Dombasle)cheats on her husband (Duchaussoy) with one of his handsome colleagues. The lovers want to get rid of the hubby but it backfires on them. And the worst is yet to come.Well acted by the three principals ,this is a moderately suspenseful story ,which involves gangsters ,surgery ,and a man who's got a new face after a savage attack (the title is right for that matter).Average MTV stuff.
