It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Wendy has an argument with her boyfriend . Upset she runs in to a public toilet . Wiping her tears away she hears a noise coming from a cubicle This a short six minute horror film from Dutch film maker Sharrif Nasr and is rather unsettling . It's a common strategy in horror films to scare the audience by using the old tried and tested trick of using silence over the soundtrack then BANG cause the audience to jump out of their seats be inserting loud noise . As I said it's almost too easy to scare an audience with this but it always works . If there's a downside to LOVE HURTS it's a little bit too gory for its own good and there's a bit too much blood being splashed around but any horror fan will enjoy this rather morbid and disturbing short horror film
