Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

I think this movie is good for a low budget and a sleepover with friends. I have watched it multiple times. Yes it is not professional, these you tubers like Nigahiga and Kev make these kind of low budget awkward and weird humor, that I enjoy. I find the story very exciting and is the reason why I watch it. The movie isn't a huge theater type of movie, but more of a cheap, funny, bored kind of binge movie.

Man Up is a decent premise for a movie - basically a slacker takes a year off so he and his girlfriend can be in the same classes in college (though he pretty obviously does not have any plans to ever actually go to college, which infuriates his mother and rest of his family), then she drops the bomb that she is pregnant. He gets kicked out of the house, she dumps him and moves away until the baby is ready to be born, and he has to move in with his best friend Randall and "man up" to try to win her back. The story isn't awful but the acting of the two leads is pretty bad. At times it feels a bit painful. Also the writing is not very good with some really obvious plot holes and bad jokes, such as "my neighbors have a baby and it is so annoying, it cries like a baby!" I made myself finish watching it because I almost never bail on a movie before it's finished, but I kind of wish I hadn't. Thought it would get better at some point but it really didn't.
