MY GOD this movie wasn't just awful, there was also an actor abusing a cat at 1:20, sure its all acted, but the poor animal doesn't know that. Also its giving young girls the idea its alright to act like some spoiled empty headed girls and everything will be alright and done for them anyway. And finally, using fake Chanel earrings in a movie is just wrong. Its wrong! I would say this is probably the worst movie I've seen in my whole life, but unfortunately I've seen worse what doesn't make it any better at all. I don't understand someone actually invested a dollar in this movie, the writer is a retard even I could make a better plot seriously.

I really like Hilary Duff but this movie didn't really have any substance. The characters were not very 3-dimensional and not very believable as heiresses. Perhaps it was a combination of the wardrobe and the poor acting. The sisters have very similar voices so if you look away from the screen whilst you are watching then it's very difficult to differentiate between them. This was the first film I've seen Hayley Duff in and I wasn't impressed. However, I did watch the film all the way to the end. It was predictable but easy watching so if you wanted a film to just switch off to then this does the job. Perhaps the film would appeal more to younger girls.

Well, it is not really bad. True, I watch it just because there are the Duffs in it but do give some credit to the crews for setting up the plot quite nicely. I must say the movie has some lame lines and not as funny as what I would have predicted from Hillary. But, this is Haylie's breakthrough act. She has a drop dead gorgeous face and a pretty good smile. Not to mention they boot in two hot guys. Material Girls has a plot almost familiar to us all because I think they could have been almost predictable. If they could add in some bizarre moments in between, it would have been beyond memorable. Not Hillary's best definitely, but worth a watch for those who are just too bored and need some romance to spice up their life. Not recommended though to those who loves action, thriller and will easily feel sleepy when watching a boring movie.

This movie is not as bad as most claim. If you go into it expecting a fun and goofy movie then there's no way you can be disappointed. The acting was what i expected...nothing Oscar worthy but come on. The chemistry between the sisters is what held the film together and it wasn't as obvious as some have stated. Overall it gave me a couple of good laughs and it was too cute!That's really all I had to say but for some reason there's a minimum number of lines that each comment must meet, which is highly unnecessary in my book. So keep reading if you wish but you'll only be wasting your time. Sorry...just wanted to get my point of view out there without a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo but it looks like that's out of the question with IMDb.
