Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

ahradwan6 This movie is in many ways good but i personally don't think it was great yeah sure the strong familial bond is deeply touching but in many ways i thought the movie is absurd (of-course i have no idea about prisons in Korea) it made my cry, it made my laugh, it made me feel but not in a way deep enough

Emily Cooped up on a Wednesday afternoon I was in the mood for a movie and I wanted to expand my horizons by watching a movie in a language other than English. I have been interested in Korean shows and music for the past year so I did some research for a well- rated, heart-warming comedy. "Miracle in Cell No. 7" was one of the first movies to pop up in my search and after reading various reviews on the movie, I searched for a version with English subtitles and made myself comfortable on the couch. Since this Wednesday afternoon just a few months ago, I have viewed this film at least six times and every single time I must prep myself beforehand for the tears that will be shed. Not only will you cry, you will sob into oblivion. What makes this movie so enticing is its ability to make you laugh and smile just as much as it makes you cry. The upsetting and frustrating situation that this family was put in gets more and more heart wrenching throughout the film but even in times of sadness, the cast manages to make you grin from ear to ear. I have recommended this film to a handful of people and every one of those people loved this film. I would not recommend watching this on a first date because this is the hardest I have cried ever.

Vivekananda Paramahamsa Bonding and affection between a baby girl and a father whom I don't say retarded is really an awesome that every one felt to their own heart. Girl concerned about dad's becoming lean is decade's thought. Seung- Ryu and So Won Kal lived in the characters. The inmates emotions and their lives defined in the movie, girl of that age understands that she is safe in jail with criminals as she believe her dad is a good person.Director should be given a bow for the inception he has got and turning out into a eye feasting and emotionally feel good movieLove the scenes in the cell and chief also risked his life which shows every parent is same when it comes to emotional part. Director had also taken care of putting some funny scenes in between.
