I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

As its title implies, MONSTER presents some of that good old in-and-out staged under the sun's glorious rays, rather than in some anonymous bedroom. It's typical of late-night pay-cable lowbrow diversion for stir-crazy adults, and executed at about the level of a typical Jim Wynorski or Fred Olen Ray picture. (Yes, dear friends, in these benighted, decadent times, these two represent an industry standard of sorts.)My favorite Samantha Ryan makes little impression here, and is better viewed in higher-minded story features or lesbian escapades. The monster is a guy in a gorilla suit, horny but not allowed any Borowczyk explicit sex. The beauties more or less dance around for him rather than hump him.Best scene has got to be a lesbian clinch starring Bridgette B., whose immense breasts are actually more impressive in a soft-core setting like this one, where breast worship is stressed, rather than her usual hardcore assignment where a big dick often upstages her (alas). Shooting is rather good - an object lesson to pornographers in that just shooting on a sunny day gets better results for throwaway TV filler than the any amount of wasted artsiness by incompetent XXX cameramen on studio sets and interiors.
